you sound like Tom Cruise to me lol
RIP channel
For those considering their first shoot, you will be shocked at how welcoming and helpful the other shooters will be. It's part of the USPSA culture. And you ran with Tim Herron! That's like showing up for basketball clinic and Michael Jordan hangs with you all day giving pointers!
What happened to this channel?
4 awesome videos and you guys noped out?
Maybe they got discouraged? I know they're beginners, but their strings are pretty glacial for Steel Challenge. It can be crushing to compete against the folks who have been doing it forever and have string times of 1.2 - 2.0 seconds.
@@Seseous maybe but I just shot a match ant I was the slowest in my squad by far and had tons of fun!
Hey just wanted to say I enjoyed your content hope you decide to pick it back up
You still going?
I would never remember the stage instructions, I'd get the sequence wrong every time.
Looks like you have a good foundation of skills. All in all I would say you did a great job for a first-timer. The next step is to dry fire like crazy and never stop learning. 👍
I'm retired LE and going to start this. I see I will struggle on things like not standing in an "open doorway," when I load a magazine I always invert the gun to let gravity do its thing, we double taped everything. It will definitely be a learning experience for me. Unlearning techniques that have been second nature for a long time, 30+ years. I'll be eating a lot of humble pie for awhile. I'll be shooting iron sights until I get used to optics... crawl, walk, run. Great video guys.
This looks so fun. I just started shooting but have been wanting to try this out bc I'm super competitive but also extremely eager to get better
You guys are genuine, open minded, and very enthusiastic. Good attitude, and well done on the first match. I just registered with USPSA last week, picked up a Shadow 2 Orange, been practicing every day if I can. Got my first match (Steel Challenge) Jan 20th. Super anxious and excited. Keep up the great work man!
Camera man interviewing skills are top notch. Awesome video guys really appreciate it.
🙂👍
Congrats man. Your development through stage per stage was awesome to see. Keep it up. Love this enthusiasm! Frank and Tim are great dudes.
LOVE shooting stages created by Tim
This vid is a yr old. How’s your road to GM going?
That is exactly what I found shooting my first matches with the IDPA, the guys take you in accept you and help you all the way through. Great people, good time and all while doing something exciting!
😎👍🏿
I just did my first competition 2wks ago i wish i watched this video prior lol the competition killed my confidence but it was so fun. 😊 I’d definitely try again
just started sport shooting this July. 😊
1st match coming up soon. So excited!
If you’re hitting all alphas you’re going too slow 😊
I’m 10 months late how far have you made it?
Awesome video I’m also looking to shoot my 1st match
14:45 what do you mean he was the only shooter ??
excellent video. you get better every time you go out. i remember my first match. nerve racking and overly excited. keep it up!
What shot timer app do you use
I know I’m late to this but thanks for sharing!
Leg position for the strong hand shooting wasn’t optimal.
What state are these matches you guys are doing?
Just stumbled across this channel. Great video! As an introvert, I absolutely loved that you mentioned the camaraderie that takes place during a shooting match or even in a squad. Shooting might seem like a daunting sport for a lot of people, but once you get to the range, you almost always meet the most supportive, humble and helpful guys. Keep up the good work man!
Where was this match at?
So, are you a GM yet?
Great video, congrats on such awesome performance, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to my first match. Content about USPSA is very supportive. Awesome!!
Got my first pistol match coming up 3/19. I can relate to everything your saying when it comes to accuracy over speed. Nervous and excited!
What’s your classification now?
I just found your channel. I hope you guys make more vids soon showing your progress, drills you’ve learned, etc. 👍👍
Would love to see more! 🔥
Just shot my first match. Very welcoming community, gave me a lot of advice and had great advice. Just as you said, very nervous leading up to my first round. Once my first shot was off I was fine. It's a great time and I did better than I expected. 5th out of 9 and did better each round.
Armer all the mags on a Glock and they will drop clean every time.
I just registered for my first uspsa match for the season beginning in april in Ohio. Love watching videos like this gets me pumped
nice guys. keep it up
love this series, please keep it up
Good luck to you. I don't have the time to practice enough to be competitive.
Welcome to the fascinating world of practical shooting! Thanks for sharing your journey ... good luck and fun!
This is super cool to watch...Been thinking about getting into the competition circuit...Looks FUN!
games all games .how far has shooting fallen ..how to get killed with b/s guns
You are aware that many of the top guns have "real world" experience and advocate for the sport? You think that advanced gun handling skills are a bad idea?
@@jackdeth5009 FBI Miami shoot out
@@katana258 Huh?
@@jackdeth5009 yep thats about right..''huh '' thats for making my point
@@katana258 You do realize that you are actually making my argument for me? The Miami shootout is what caused agencies to get their heads out of their collective asses and modernize. SO ... "Huh"? meaning "what the f*** does that have to do with your half assed opinion"!
Tim Herron is an awesome instructor and a big name in USPSA. Take a class with him ASAP! Awesome work man!
I want to get into competition shooting
