Heya amazing rip. Who is OSE please ? Was looking at a few boats and the Zonda is one of them. I almost purchased a Zonda but some of the reviews had ESC’s failing ( burning) within minutes of launch and two users reported major drive shaft failure too. So, I’m curious is there an upgraded / Updated version of the Zonda from where please ?

I have this same boat. It is so stable and then when you get around 55mph it comes alive. Absolutely love this boat. I never could get much out of the 1650 motor though.

Some food for thought on why I asked about whether you give help to viewers. The channels that give advise helps build the sport but it also increases followers to the channel. When people just watching boats run fast,they might just say a nice thing about it’s speed or appearance or the great river and give credit to you for getting that amazing speed etc. But when you say I did this or that, whether it’s a prop change or an esc change or a kv change or strut angle change or removal of a fin or sharpening or a CG change or a ton of other changes . People get “invested “ in the journey. If you ever watch Ironclad Rc you will know what I am talking about. His views are in the thousands some are multiple thousands. iI you read the comments you will see a mix of interest but a lot of loyal viewers, his humility is the key as well as the content. Some people just don’t have what it is that he has in them, I guess. Some don’t want to put in the work. I have many fast boats but can’t be bothered to do videos of them but in comments on his channel and others I give absolutely every detail of how I got the speed I get. That is If a commenter is asking about something I have helpful information on. Virtually everyone gets in on this type of help if they have any, at different times. Of course they will do their own research to see if what they read is done successfully by others before spending their hard earned dollars. It’s such a great sport with endless learning opportunity but if successful people contribute valuable proven info it can save a lot of heartache and money. And this can bring incredible Joy to the unselfish helper or contributor.

So what’s your set up or you know another one of those people like it’s top-secret man. It’s like this though I can tell somebody my exact set up everything I have in my boat down to the damn washer and they can do the same thing on their boat and then not run the same because there’s still so many variables by how you set it up All the way down to the timing of your motor to angle of your strut your trim tabs to just a quarter inch of battery movement one way or another makes a hell of a difference, sanding the bottom of the boat or not sanding the bottom of the boat that I give you a mile an hour just a rough it up , don’t believe me? I’ve watched guys take million dollar boats and take sandpaper to the bottom of a catamaran to gain a mile an hour or two. It almost physically makes me sick watching them do that. I couldn’t do it to an RC boat much less that, but they do it because it creates air bubbles rides instead of being a slick surface. A slick surface is like rain guard gutters that’s why the water sticks to the gutter doesn’t shoot across it because it’s a slick surface. It sticks to it, but creates friction at the same time which slows it down same thing with a boat I assume that’s why a lot of boats have steps on the hulls because they don’t wanna sand their shit either, but they still wanna create that pocket of air. They riding on though I don’t get off my soapbox. Hell soapbox might work good too lol. Anyway, enough on that I got a carbon fiber pursuit as well. On 6S not on 8S. Had to move the ESC to the side so I can get the battery slid back to get the center of gravity where I needed it because the stock location in between the motor and the battery is not enough room even if you stand it on edge. That’s quick though man that’s quick one hitter quitter. Oh my set up is a SSS 3682 V2 1900 KV seaking 180 through hull water cooling. CG 31% or 10 inches off the transom. Still playing around with props. Bashing hard in the mid 70s thinking about ripping it all out and reinforcing the hull with another layer carbon fiber. For the money those little carbon fiber props aren’t too bad no balancing if you ding one you’re not out but five bucks. I try to help anyone out I can I want to see everyone go fast! Sorry for the book Obviously, I can get long-winded. AnyWho, keep it up. get in at 90 mile an hour club have you ever flipped it? I’ve never even flipped mine backwards ever other than my stupidity on rough water bashing it I don’t like doing that it’s hard on them CF or not plus I don’t have a rescue boat

1800kv on 4s with a 1.6 pitch 45mm that’s about 45mph at the most, maybe you had you gps tracker set to kph ? Or possibly I heard you wrong on the kv, my bad if so and maybe I’m learning something new-what did you do with the water bottle- precooling ?
