Might have to rewatch this again. Loved this season as well, probably the last one where all of the episodes are an 8 or higher for me.

"Our" Morty is NOT Morty C-137! He refers to himself as that once or twice but he is not as C-137 is the dimension where "our" Rick loses his wife, therefore never having children, therefore Morty never exists in that dimension.

He knew that he was in a simulation but he wasn't sure yet if Morty was real. That's why he's so upset when they end the final simulation, he's pissed that they made his grandson so convincing that he couldn't see through it. He was suspicious but he didn't know for sure until he glitched out.

5:05 Cartoon Network was at once playing to make a live action adventure time movie so I guess they were parodying that

weird tidbits abound in S1 that are odd to think about in hindsight. like, there's a 'joke' in Ricksy Business that seems to imply Jerry has been r*ped before??? I never see it brought up, and it doesn't go anywhere... bizarre oh, and if I may be mildly pedantic, "Our" Rick is C-137, but "Our" Morty merely assumes that makes him "Morty C-137", which he's never corrected on. the double take reaction from the Council Ricks when he declares himself "Morty C-137" cements this imo. but that ties into the Big Reveal.

I loved rick and morty from the get-go. I generally hate fanbases. I like Nirvana, in school never met a "nirvana fan" who didn't make me cringe. The thing about Justin Roiland is, man, stop being a creep and you could keep making art.

For some reason s1 and s2 were just so fresh. It was mostly a parody of sci fi tropes and it didnt want you to take it very seriously, it just wanted to be funny and entertaining. Then the serious moments hit that much harder. But after that it became something else, it started taking itself way too seriously and trying too hard while at the same time appearing not to try? Its a bit paradoxical but this seems to be the energy of latter seasons

This is easily the best season of the show, rivaled only by the first season. It's crazy to look back and see how much more thought was put into it. Once they got the 70 episode deal, it lost a lot of charm. This was never a show that should've gotten the Family Guy treatment,

Pure chaos and I love it

Season 2 and 1 were great. 3 was okay. Then it started to slip. And now it is trash TBH. Rowland isn't a good person, but it isn't the same without the improv feel and "loosesness". Also, I noticed each season got more and more gore filled and massive battle filed, which gets annoying after awhile.

the B plot in big trouble in little sanchez is one of the best B plots of the whole show
