Watched the part where my team was crouch peeking. That's a thing on csgo where you crouch peek everything so the crosshair placement of the enemy when u peek is not on the head lol. That's a risk as well but you just do that when you know/confident that someone plays that angle every round 😂

Main thing isnt these settings boost your fps, these settings reduce unexpected fps drops. And main issue is the cpu bottleneck everytime. So when you do these type of settings you lower the chance of getting bottleneck !! Im talking about get rid of junks, running background programs etc.. So its normal you didnt realize anything in normal scenario.

3900x vs 5700x3d Since we are at fps I would like to add something with respect to x3d chips I had a 3900x with 6800xt 1440 p gaming 3600 cl 16-19-19-36 ram gtznc Used to get around 200-230 fps cs 2 medium settings 180-190 fps dota 2 medium settings Rdr2 90-110 high settings with few ultra Witcher 3 100-120 fps ultra+ Used to have frame time spikes all the time even after multiple optimizations Now i only switched to 5700x3d rest all are same and the fps boosted very well Cs2 350-400 Dota 2 230-240 consistent (capped) Rdr2 130-150 Witcher 3 120-140 ( few frame spikes dtill occur i dont know why many people say its because of the game My personal suggestion is if on am 4 switch to 5700x3d with a better gpu you will be more than happy !! I miss video conversion times with my 5700x3d as its pretty alow in that regard compared to 3900x but thats not my primary purpose of the pc its gaming! 🙂

What are your thoughts on capping the framerate, for example to the monitors refresh rate? I've heard myself it can give more input lag, but at the same time help alot with stability.

Only thing that really matters is the minimum fps or lowest 1%, in many cases the overall fps might seem same or even lower when in fact the min fps got boost.... your qhole test is completely null... nobody cares about getting 165fps instead of 155fps. What is the min fps?

A few days ago, my PCs ping was fine. Just recently, My pcs ping started reaching consistant 1k-1.5k and sometimes spiking to over 10k ping. Do you have any idea what caused this?

setting game mode ON helps your pc to not run unnecessary application/program... like windows update it wont run if you're playing games.

Settings graphical settings lower, especially anything that requires constant dynamic calculations like shadows tend to help in a lot of games with gpu bottlenecks, and then there’s overclocking. The one other solution to being stuck at 600 fps with a 4090 at 1440p and push the game to 658 avg

bruh, my laptop can get like 400fps without doing anything in cs and it doesn't even have a dedicated video card. no one needs to optimize for that game and if they do then maybe buy pc parts made within the last 10 years.

I have 31 ping when playing online, but my games still lag my computer can handle anything on the highest settings with no issue, but it's just when I play multiplayer and my downloads are so slow and my computer is still pretty new. I never had issues like this before and its a little bit frustrating at times. I'm not having a ping issue idk why it's lagging when I'm playing and it says I have 31 ping I know that's good ping, but I also did a lot of other things including shutting down a bunch of other apps and so on. Nothing has worked. I even upgraded my internet a little bit and still have issues. Can't seem to figure out the problem.
