I ordered the white kit from afd recently and it has horrible quality and paint. AFD's customer service is non-existent so I had to open a paypal claim to try and get a refund. I'll never order anything from them again. Wish there was an oem quality kit to purchase, I'll probably get oem panels painted instead.

Just about to do this on the weekend. How does the flash feel? Any DAM drops? Knocking? I'm thinking about getting the dmann tunes that our US brothers are using. Upspec is up the road from me but I just don't know how good the tune is.

Did they have any problems with the turbo/front pipe nuts?

I pushed about the same from my vb, had the tune about a year310-330 is about average for these mods depending on the tune day temp. 400+tqe is about the limit for the 6 speed gb to. Nice build so far

you are suppose to use a hole saw on the trunk backing. If you do that the bolts will fit.

Keep in mind that if you start to play with boost, fuel and ECU you might blow up the engine. The reason I say this because from the factory you get the most reliable tune . I know that I felt excited the same way years ago but the more I have learned the more failures I have seen the less excited I get . You see even if everything is done correctly once you start burning more fuel your exhaust temperatures would rise and you don’t have temperature sensor on the inlet to the turbo and temperature sensors on each cylinder. What happens during engine overload condition is your exhaust temperature will go much higher that the engine can tolerate and with in few minutes your exhaust valve will grow from the excessive heat but since your valve guides are cooled by the engine coolant they will remain the same size and it won’t take long when your exhaust valves friction between the valve guide and the valve will exceed the spring pressure and than you will have valve float this is an interference engine this meant the valve won’t close on time and the piston will hit the valve. After that the valve drop piston will hit it again and come out from the side of the engine. Then your engine is done the block is broken everything will be in to pieces.

You need to get a brake line wrench set. It’s common to strip those bolts on a brake line. There are wrenches that are designed just for this task.
