After i turned nurses in at a nursing home for neglect i quit. My dad was in ER every weekend. Er doctor realized he just wanted attention. Dementia. Without asking us or tellung us he had him transfered to the nursing home i left. We were still in ER. After we were told i was so mad. The next day i went to see him. He was soaked in urine. Nurse walked out saying sarcastically,He moved. She deliberately cut his face all over with a razor. Dry shaved. I cursed at her and told her to get out. I then realized he had a stroke. They ignored him. His feeding tube was infected. I called 911 for a ambulance. I yelled at the head of nursing. The nurses laughed. Now ,always make sure you know about family members before you treat a patient bad. I was a witch at that time. A real witch. Each nurse that mocked my dad and me ended up passed away. Evil eye actually works. I brought him home and he had good hospice. He lived a year and a half on a feeding tube. When i walked through that nursing home taking my father out i was as angry as the witch in Maleficent.

Notify adult services. DHS. Every state should have it.

Document and report the manager.

My son is in one of those he'll holes. Rehab nursing home He has neropathy in his legs and feet He cannot walk hes in a wheelchair.

You did the right thing call State Dept of Health and social services and instantly they will send a Professional to that facility and get write ups fines, and you will be the winner. Yes give the State dept of Health and social services the managers name. She will be scritinized by the most important the government of Health and social services. She is non compliant. I been in your situation many times in 30years of workinh in subacute rehab,longterm, nosocomial environments,not only with short staff. Not enough wash clothes ,garbage bags, staph infections are a nono File a complaint on line about her name and the nosocomial nursing facility full of biohazard infections with no garbage bags and no proper biohazard containment ❤go girl ...

At many facilities.I was accused of breaking down all of the dryers in a highend facility...she was condescending toward you. She gets off on bullying you. You need to walk away of that job. Not in the human medical field, but in the Veterinary field. I've worked with amazing Vets, Techs, Assistants etc. All it takes is a bad boss, or bad management to ruin everything. The morale goes down. We're stressed. Everyone suffers. It's bad leaders who push the caring ones OUT of these type of jobs, where we are desperately needed

Every one that works for housekeeping for a facility is special. You are not replaceable by all means she will met her match one day. I know I’m a caregiver and cleaning is our responsibility that they have clean homes and bathrooms. I cook , bathed and wash clothes and at 70 years old it can be challenging. I still do it but it’s getting harder I love people I met so many and they were like family.❤️

I use to work as a housekeeper at a rest home here in North Carolina, I had a boss that was a jerk. He was the last boss I had there, cause he fired me. They hired so many people to be the boss over housekeeping. He couldn't stand me.

Hey 👋 👋 1st-👏👏👏👏👏👍❣ I started out working at a hospital as a Phlebotomist in 1990 then got trained on the job as a Med asst/Surgical asst. I too had my rounds throughout the day (I covered the floors) n got to know Everybody in all fields (fir the most part) ..I just wanted to commend you in what youre doing for these patients who some of them..dont have a voice. The diseases that are being spread from patient to patient let aline to the rest of the staff n visitors...Not only is it Hep C...Theres Hiv/Aids...CDiff..Respitory infections that can turn into pneumonia...I could go On n On with the diseases n illness/infections thatare being spread in that facility. I caught CDiff from a patient (a coworker splashed me in my eyes with it n I suffered for over 5 yrs with CDiff n woumd up in the ICU 4 X's! It wasent until the last time when I hemmorraged that they were abke to find the CDiff..My BP dtopped to 45/30 n my Hmg dropped to a 6...its supposed to be a 14 so i needed Blood transfusions...I almost died. Working in the medical field like U n I do ..We depend on Everybody following Osha rules for our Own safety n the safety of the patients n all the people that come through there. I cant Begin to tell U how much U did the Right thing by letting this be known! U could Literally be saving someones Life!! U should get ahold of a Lawyer n discuss u getting terminated (no matter what excuse they used for it) Also when u go for another job make sure u tell them what happened. U have compassion...Dont ever change! Youre the kind of person that is Needed in Health Care!! I wish u all the Best in your future...I have a feeling youre gonna be just fine !💯🤗💜

The problem with the state visit is its just another day for them. Oh well is probably what that is See Congress in person if you can and have your proof and story like your ducks all in a row. You voice just might grease the wheels. Its abuse is what it is.

My mom works in housekeeping at a large hospital and I can confirm these types of shenanigans happen there as well. The housekeeping manager won't order supplies, they were out of bleach and were told to bring their own bleach to work 🤦. They also pull that BS of giving workers 30+ rooms and telling them to just "get them done quicker" Some straight up shady shenanigans going on at these places.

I just wanted if you made a trip to you state congressman maybe sparks can start flying at the facillity. Its just an ideal that came to me.

File a report with state and local authorities.

Firstly God bless you for having a caring heart. Keep on doing an awesome job while loving those residents. I worked as a nurse for 37 years on a memory care unit. Yes 37 years ! I loved my job too but I quickly learned upper management is there to check the books and collect a bonus. They did not work out jobs or knew how our department ran. Hang in God and those residents see how much you care.

CNA was my first job right after highschool I took it as a highschool program for free , and I cried like that every shift. After about a year I took medical assistance program and worked with an an oncologist three more years. I still cry for the patients it is grief because old age and terminal illnesses is very sad but the team of family, patient and medical staff is very important for comfort in the last days of a human life , please don't forget God is watching and the surveillance cameras too stay careful and Strong and keep sharing the patience with us RUclipsr viewers your voice stays for me to remember to say Thanks for kindness of your God bless the senior's nurses and medical staff and family have a nice evening love and prayers 😊

I work as an independent contractor doing cleaning and caregiving for the elderly. The pay is better and you are your own boss ... I think you'd be good at this. Terrible how that lady treats you. Hang in there!! Know you're better than that, and some day you'll have your own gig, without losers such as she. 👍
