Very pretty this time of the evening. My brother owned at the Estero Beach Club for 30 years, by the grace of someone, he sold his ground floor unit two years before Ian. When I saw the pictures all I recognized was the shower stall and the ceiling fan.

Looks like a paradise.

I texted Doug. I want to help rebuild that place. Hopefully he gets back to me.

This is Amazing footage, thank you! I'm forwarding this to my brother to ask him what is that coming out of that long black hose? It's coming from the ocean and extends clear across the beach then it's dumping out what? Water? Sand? Water doesn't make sense as why wld you suck up water only to dump it back? Unless there is some type of way that tube is cleaning the water somehow? And if it's sand, then what? They are taking clean sand from bottom of ocean to dump on beach instead of trying to clean up any sand that needs to be cleaned? I'm really confused! And. I'm so interested in what they are doing and the process etc! So thank you for posting!!!!

What is going on there in front of the Edison? Did the storms bring in enough sand to extend the beach?

Still a warm beautiful place. But for humans, not so much.

The definition of insanity is doing something that does not work or breaks, then doing the same thing over and over expecting better results. Well the people that build houses anywhere on the eastern seaboard or anywhere along the Gulf of Mexico, have been and still are Insane. No house or business in any of these area’s belongs being built at any level below the high water mark of Twenty Five feet above Hight Tide Sea Level. That building code will save the vast majority of all this trash being left behind. Also save $Billions being spent on cleanups. Florida over the last 125 logged hurricanes over 175 years. That is a hurricane every 1.3 years. How are buildings still allowed to be built at any level below 25 feet above mean high tide sea level. All buildings belong on either flow through Parking garages or Pylons. Also all boats belong in either Man Made or natural Harbors anchored with single Line Cable Moorings. More dam boats bust loose from docks and crash into buildings or houses. It is not at all fair for one state to beg of so much Taxpayer Money for assistance so many times in a lifetime. Build with more wisdoms.
