    To: Mr. T Chandler, AZ, Well, you finally got in touch with us even though is was through a RUclips Posting. We emailed you a number of time trying to tell you that your order was returned. Written on the box RETURN to SENDER - FWD? You did not answer our emails, so we refunded the purchase price for the board $50.00, which was the right thing to do under the circumstance You indicated on the RUclips post, we did not give you an explanation for the refund, why then did you not read the comment section at the bottom of the refund page emailed to you where I mentioned the reason for the refund. I'm not Mr.T, but I find this post amazing being that I've been emailing you for months and not one reply. Your facebook page's last post was November of 2018 as well. Nothing in spam on my end so I'm guessing you're out of business or have no clue that your email stopped working, OR just stopped caring to answer people trying to buy your product.

      For easier connection of the toggle switches to the board, we now have available, on our PARTS page 2-pin connectors on a pair of 14 inch wires. The wire end is soldered to the 2 terminals on the spst toggle switch. The 2-pin connector is placed on any of the 20 available inputs. When all 20 switches are connected, set the flight functions using FSUIPC or the available settings on X-Plane

      Hi, Although we do not have a MAC to test the compatibility of the 2120, many customers have informed us that all of our circuit boards and panels, including the 2120, were detected with a MAC computer. The 2120 is a HID Joystick device, so there should be no compatibility issues.

    • @DTA34613
      @DTA34613 8 лет назад

      Also, the 2120 is compatible with X-Plane 10.xx and newer versions

      Hi, The 2120 is sensed by the computer as a Joystick and the appropriate driver is loaded. So with this in mind; the 2120 will work with any type of simulator that accepts joystick inputs. A simulator that accept keyboard inputs alone; the 2120 is not compatible

    • @DTA34613
      @DTA34613 8 лет назад

      Hi Cecilio, The 2120 board is designed to be seen by the computer as a joystick controller. So when the board is first plugged in, the computer loads the appropriate driver software. When loaded, the 2120 is ready to be programmed with the desired flight function. No other software is needed. So you can say the board is plug-n-play

    Can I solder the wires straight to the board, I'm having issues with the two pin connectors not really connecting very well, I've got a few where this isn't a problem, but a few of them are sort of intermittent, maybe super glue? Other than that this is such a cool product.

    • @DTA34613
      @DTA34613 8 лет назад

      You can solder wires directly to the underside of the board but care must be taken not to create any shorts (solder bridges) between connection points. I recommend that you use a 30 watt soldering pencil with a very small point. Solder flux should also be used. It helps to allow the solder to flow easier on the wire.

    @delewey1 8 лет назад

    Hello. I bought this board and have added a few switches all of which test out in the properties panel. When I program them in FSX they only work by throwing the switch twice. It doesnt recognize on/off as such. The only way to turn them on and off is, as i say, throwing the switch twice. Can you help?

    • @DTA34613
      @DTA34613 8 лет назад

      +Michael Browning - Hi Michael. You probably purchased the Model 2160 in stead of the 2120 (board seen in video). The 2160 creates only 1 pulse when the spst toggle switch is flipped. For a spst toggle, you need the 2120 board. To get the 2160 board working, you need to wire a spdt (single pole double throw) toggle, whether flipping the switch up or down, will produce a 1/4 second pulse.

    • @delewey1
      @delewey1 8 лет назад

      I purchased the 2040 from you, which I now understand only supports the single push switch. I'm completely ignorant when it comes to electronics etc. I guess I will need to purchase the 2120 now. Thanks for your answer.

    • @DTA34613
      @DTA34613 8 лет назад

      +Michael Browning - The 2040 board can also be used with SPDT toggle switches. It can be wired just like the 2160 board as I described above. Instead of a pulse coming from the board as the 2160 would create; the 2040 is a constant ON when the input pins are shorted to ground. So using this configuration, the 2040 supports up to 10 single pole double throw switches (two 2040 inputs need to be connected to one toggle switch). Then the switch can be configured to any available flight function using the command: (Example) Landing Lights ON (toggle switch flipped up)- Landing Lights OFF (toggle switch flipped down).

      Hi, It is difficult if not impossible to test all of DTA circuit boards and Panels with every flight sim program out there. With that said, I downloaded a copy of ProSim at: ProSim737_beta_manual-08-21-2012.pdf. Page 24 indicates that ProSim accepts Joystick cards thus joystick button inputs. All DTA cards and panels are "seen" by the computer as a Joystick input. So it is safe to say that DTA boards are compatible with ProSim Software. Bobby B.

    Do the colers of the wire matter? I'm looking to make a 737 over head panel. But I have no experiance with wires or soldering please explain!

    • @DTA34613
      @DTA34613 9 лет назад

      The color of the wires really do not have any effect on the circuit board; but using wires of different color can make it a bit easier if you need to troubleshoot a problem with the setup in the future. But I do recommend using AWG #28 or #30 STRANDED wire. Solid wire can cause problems if you bent them too much it breaks way too easily. STRANDED is the better choice because it can be bent a number of times without causing breakage.

      DTA34613 I use cable speaker wire (13 strand) which is cheap at 14 quid for 100m from Tool Station - as there only a negligible current being carried, it works well and is considerably cheaper than other electrical wiring
