I live right by here it's one of the few public access areas to the lake. The fishing is pretty good in my experience I have caught many different species near here!

The new buildings are so ugly

This road sucks for a cyclist in a couple ways. First, the bicycles are forced closer to the curb. It has been standard tracking for road riders to ride in the direction of traffic and to stay to the left of the white lines near the curb. All the little bits of litter, glass, and other stuff that ends up in the road is aggregated near the curb. The closer you ride to the curb, the more likely you are too pick up something in your tire that will cause a flat. Second, at the end of the road, they expect the bicycles to switch places with the right lane of cars who might be turning. This weave seems unsafe. Immediately upon crossing the road, the bike lane ends by guiding riders to run into the curb.

like 30% of the road is for driving and cars are parked in the middle of the street?. Why no "driver's door zone" since we're wasting space? you could put an interstate there with that width. What a waste. Must be nice to live where there's no traffic

i haven't thought of this place in years....... i remember when it opened, thinking it would never make it, but i held on for quite a few years. I have no idea what's going on with those properties now, other than lots of money lol hmmmm or less now, since the mall is gone?

wasn't there a dolphin boy too? i think it was on Elm street, in an obscure place, on the left heading up, a boy holding on to it's fin not sure if it's still there (no reason for it not to be)

I worked at that Marriott, as a groundskeeper. loved it. (mid '80's) when did that other ugly building infront of it go up? wow, it's ugly! i used to live on Dix street, where they used to thro dead bodies out of cars, lol. I moved.

The running comments indicate that our "guides " don't know much about where they are taking us, so...why are we going along??? BYE!!😅

i don't recognize it at all. I'm not far. I used to live on Vernon hill many years ago, i just don't go that way. I had a '69 caddy convertable years ago, they got out of my way, had to be aggressive too,,, also had a factory horn that said, f you, lol, rather than 'excuse me" lol

there are many, lol. Try Gates Lane. (dirt) people wont get it done, because there would be too much traffic , between Mill and the others at the end. i have a car that can handle it tho. it's kinda fun

fun. I'm in Worcester,, since 1974, i'm 60 now. I rode by there years ago, and there was horse and buggies,,, all period correct, many, delivery ones, etc, they were filming something, and still have no idea what it was to this day. I should have pulled over and just asked, i'm a duh. lol. it was quite a production of stuff to make it right. This i had no idea also,, i'm full of 'duh' . oh well, great recognition for Worcester, love it.

it looks much better now. It went thru a lot of reno. And the park gets used by many every day

was the nicest mall in Worcester. Now, thanks to computers and people who don't care what quality is when buying something, now we have nothing. as other cities follow suit. it's called LAZ, and now we have porch pirates.

They're also filming in downtown Boston.Congress and High Street has the same car props.

It's sort of a dumpy neighborhood, but I used to love to go to the Wonder Bar and the Italian Kitchen when I was a kid. I does not look much different now.

Watching this over and over because it's stirring up so many teenage memories! This park was the spot back then! It was where you could be guaranteed to find some good pot and acid, and then go trip all night in the adjoining track field behind the tennis courts (not shown in video) then hit up DJ's Market on Vernon Street for beer, right across from the Pizza shop. It was 1986-87 and people were having a good time blaring Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin out of cars and boom boxes, all those apartments across from the park, back then, were full of pot dealers and acid heads. We'd hang out in the field adjoining the park, on the bleachers , drinking Budweiser, smoking pot, and tripping on either the awesome blotter acid back then or the four-way-windowpane! The best LSD and shrooms back then, and Good ol Worcester.

That park was where everyone went to score weed in the 80's, lol 😆 Thankyou for the memory

The park looks pretty much the same as it did when I was last there, at 18 years old in early 1990. Now I live in Arizona but it's amazing it looks almost the same, except for all the hippies and metalheads that used to hang out there in the 80s

There was ALSO filming on NORWICH Street on May 1st, which is why you saw them cleaning up on May 2nd. So it was Norwich Street AND Main Street.

2,000 dollars for a studio sounds like a lot, but it just comes down to what it's like. My studio which is more than 2,000 dollars a month has granite countertops, a big walk in shower, and all new stainless steel appliances with a really good dishwasher. I also only have to pay for electric and heat is included.

I wonder if Joe's Albums is gonna be open cause it's on Main Street and I gotta order some stuff tomorrow.

Polar Park is a baseball stadium, home of the Woosox (Worcester Red Sox), formerly the Pawsox of Pawtucket RI. They are a minor league team.

The butcher that closed down was on Pleasant Steet at Tatnuck Square. It was Tatnuck Meats and Seafood, owned by Harvey Slarskey. He had been there for 50 years, and his son took over for awhile, but decided to close the business. Derrico's on Shrewsbury Street is still open.
