Nice animals man!
Nice video alot of great information Mikes Monitors would be another guy to have on a podcast his animals and enclosures are top notch 👍
Great episode boys ! As greatness this was to listen to, and your guys passion is absolutely inspiring, I’m team bearded dragon allllllll day 😂😂😂😬🤷🏻♂️
I paid $35 for my first baby gargoyle gecko even though I should have just traded the 3 baby crested gecko instead
Happy New Year!! It is great to see you expanding the podcast (although I do appreciate the gargoyle info). Loved this podcast as I breed several different arids including uromastyx. As a side note, baby bearded dragons do quite well in a 4x2x2 enclosure. My baby enclosures are all 4x2. The old info is definitely incorrect. Yes, you can keep a baby in a 40g breeder (36inch by 18inch) since you can get the heat gradient to work in that but I recommend to my customers to start with the 4x2 enclosure because within a year that baby is going to need more room.
@@harleygirl30 oh that’s great info. I always wondered why such an intelligent lizard couldn’t handle a larger enclosure when young. Does it need more hiding spaces for that to work?
@geckocove If they bask normally, hiding spaces on both cool side and hot side are great. If they go into the cool side and don't want to bask I recommend to just have the hide on the warm side till they acclimate. They are all better off in the larger enclosure as long as lighting is correct.
So pretty love the red spots
THAT BOOK IS EXCELLENT IN MY OPINION
Yes!! Sounds like flavors of something. This is fascinating to hear!
Happy wife, happy life 😂
Yes!!! 😂
Light base. ❤❤❤🦎🦎🦎
Great video! Thoroughly done! Thanks!
Top notch video! So much information packed into one video. You kept it flowing and interesting all the way through. I will definitely watch it again. Thank you!
How does that hold onto humidity though? I'd guess if you're going bioactive (long term plan for my garg) the plants give off more moisture but I'd still worry about all that humidity escaping through the ventilation. (So uh, yeah, I'd like to see the video on how to seal those up.) Also it's clearly a lot lighter than glass, but can a tiny person with a bad back assemble it solo? (Asking for a friend. Who might be a gecko who can't help me put together her new enclosure. 😂)
So going off my year of experience with the 18x18x36 it hold humidity very well with no signs of problems if you use PVC or plexiglass to closs off the top screen. I would not close it off fully as that would be super humid (good for frogs). As for putting it together with a bad back.... its big so that would be my concern. The weight is not as much of an issue but if you can't bend down to screw things in or lift 20lbs I would get someone to help or buy a smaller enclosure. This is huge and would be great for Leachies and Chewies but this would not be my first choice for a single garg or even a pair. Hope this helps.
@@geckocove The 18x18x36 would probably be better for my single garg. Sounds like I might want a phone a friend for the assembly though. Thanks!
Interesting enclosure- I might have to look into these! Thank you for donating to the 12 Supreme Days of Christmas! @SupremeGecko
Are all the shows geared toward breeders?
They call it that because of the two little bumps which sometimes look like little horns and gargoyles have horns normally
A couple of things. I wonder if they're strong enough to hold the weight of a second one in front. I also think there should be an option to have less ventilation because it is a lot for an arboreal setup. Looooove that it has glass doors
If they sent them for free, isn't that technically sponsoring? Lol They look good!
thanks for the review Bobby! Hatchling racks/set up review next? 👀
Here’s my second comment about these enclosures lol. I currently have a savannah monitor in the 4 x 2 as a temporary set up. & I also have a peach throat monitor that comes out daily to free room and he’s constantly getting on top of this enclosure & climbs all over it lol. It’s a very durable enclosure to say the least ! Mine is the maple color & I like the lighter color since it makes the inside of the enclosure brighter ! Side note lol….the material is made from new & recycled polymers & reclaimed wood fiber by products. It’s durable, long lasting and safe ! & a heavy gauge steel screen on the top. I had all of that wrote down when I bought mine so I wouldn’t forget lol 🤣😎🤙🏻
I actually have one of these eco-flex encloses. It’s a 4x2x2. It’s been in use for the last year & a half. It’s a great, solid & well constructed enclosure ! I love that it’s water resistant & don’t have to worry about anything rotting or deteriorating ! Funny you just posted this video because a couple hours ago I was just telling somebody how I wanted to get these enclosures for my three leopard geckos ! The 38x18 size. However… I did not know they also had arboreal enclosures as well….they must be new ? This style would definitely be great for a gargoyle gecko !
Nice. I have the 36x18x18 for my Leo made by them ❤
I’m glad I’m seeing your comment on here ! I was just considering getting 3 of the 36x18’s for my Leo’s. How is your Leo doing with that size enclosure ? I also have one of their enclosures….i have a 4x2x2
@amysreptileadventures6664 great! Only thing is you will need to drill a hole for the temperature probe... Did you have to?
@@rdnkenki yeah that’s the only downfall with these enclosures….they don’t have a cut out of any kind to run cords out of if needed. But it looks like this arboreal one does & so does the 5x2x2. The temp probes I use have suction cups on them and run off of a battery. I also prefer to use temp guns… I think they’re more accurate & that way you don’t have to worry about messing around with the goofy temp probes 😵💫
Awesome bobby!
Let’s goooo 🙌🏻
I google H2O geckos and can’t seem to find anything, any links bud?
@@down2fishlbc715 he is only on FB. You can hit me up on IG or RUclips and I’ll get you in touch.
QUE HERMOSO❤
Here in Europe it is known that sex can be guided by incubation temperature...similar to crocodiles and alligators.
I have 6 of these for my ball pythons live them
Thank you for this step by step! I am waiting for this enclosure to come back in stock so I can have an upgrade enclosure for my little buddy Onyx.
We’re going LIVE on Palmstreet on Nov 17, 8PM CST ✨ Don’t miss out! Going big for the first show. I’m partnering up with H20 Reptiles to bring you high end gargs, leechies and chewies at amazing prices! palmstreet.app/l/LIktjRl1
Probably one of the best videos I've seen in ur channel yet bobby 👏
How much would it cost? Averagely
Wow, After go’ogling Simmy Krotiel’s latest I noticed it had undergone revisions to add four ins. and even more using accelerated growth techniques, now I feel so huge, thanks

Your video just randomly popped up ! This is a gorgeous gargoyle gecko ! Love his coloring ! Been doing lots of research on these guys….been wanting to get a gargoyle for awhile now.
@@amysreptileadventures6664 thank you! I’ve got a few babies available. Dm me on IG if interested.
@@geckocove You’re welcome & I will definitely keep you in mind ! I watched your podcast with Paul from Rhac house a few days ago. Y’all had lots of great info to share ! I subscribed to your channel after watching it ! It’s always great to see Paul at Repticon in Tampa. He’s got some awesome gargoyles as well !
What a beauty
I love geccos. If I only had the money, space, and place to put them.
Do they need uvb as babies?
Proud NERD here😂
Thanks so much for doing this for us love seeing those Geckos !!!
Did they have any tarantulas there? Any Uromastyx? I didn't go due to the cost and CRAZY AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THERE. I saved money and just went to Petland in Bolingbrook... all captive bred animals there.
Loved this, Bobby! Thanks for taking the time to do it. I can't get to all the shows lol, but Tinley is on my future list for sure, and seeing this lets me experience it vicariously through you! TY! -Greg
