Small Stream Fly Fishing in P.E.I.
In this video im Fly Fishing a small stream in Prince Edward Island.
During this time of year, the water temperatures are warm, and finding trout can be difficult.
I head to the headwaters of a local river in hopes of finding colder water temperatures that might be holding some Trout.
Im using a Maxcatch ultraglass 3W - 7foot Fly rod with a Maxcatch Avid reel.

What was the recall about?
I have a 16g with iron sights. It was modded to a slugger, works a charm. Good piece of wood on it to boot.
How was the modification done to make it a slug gun?
@marklinengineextras8353 Howdy! We cut back the barrel to where the choke was just starting and brazed on iron sights.

Use glue gun to attach wire It make the process simpler. And wont be a headache when makimg 10 to 20 darts at once. I hunt with my own blowgun darts its a pain how many of them get lost.

@@crimzensluck7448 Thanks! Its really just Green dyed grizzly cock hackle, some red saddle hackle, and some crystal flash! Easy to tie and Mackerel love it 👍

when I first researched fly fishing, people were saying it was an expensive hobby. 7 months later I realise that fly fishing is about the same price as buying decent running shoes once a year thanks to maxcatch.

What scenario would you actually want this over a pump action?
Id probably choose a pump action for most practical uses, these are just cool to have around 🤷♂️
In countries like Australia with stricter gun controls bolt action shotguns are a way around the regulations if pump actions are banned! It gives you the option of a repeating magazine fed shotgun at least in that scenario
Got my dads old westernfield bolt action nothing greater to shoot 3 inch magnum slugs out of
Sears used to offer to purchase just the bolt as they could shoot it into the shooters face if the retaining bolt got loose or sheard.
So far so good with that, no bolts have shot into my face 🤞
