I honestly prefer this version in its simplicity. The updated version is good, sure. But this one is more bare and I'd argue more impactful. Without the sweeping arpeggios you linger more on each phrase imo.

Damn I remember getting this for xmas like 20 years ago wtf. Such an amazing follow up to the killer game that is KH 1. Easily one of the best handheld gaming experiences I ever had to this day. It was so cool to see Sora act with more edginess and character development. The new villains were dope af. A shame the KH series storyline turned to an absolute clown fiesta later on.

This is the best game I missed out on growing up. Thank God I have a best friend who let me play it in 2010. The soundtrack on the GBA is incomparable. There is just no sound like it.

I always wondered why these ending screens were never actually canon. The first one had a similar ending screen of one of the two playable characters having a normal day in the city and those weren't canon apparently, either. I wonder if that's why in later games they just show you a typewriter or a character model on a black background or something, so they don't have to retcon another results screen lol
