Just to add on your comment of exhaust, both cars have similar design, so if you call Arteon exhaust fake, same goes to the BMW as both cars have real exhaust hidden inside

The XDrive on the M340i will have an advantage over the F80 M3 CS when it comes to launching. So over a 1/4 Mile the M340i will win. Anything longer like a 1/2 Mile. The M3 even the none CS version will take it due to having more power. Then in the rolling race as you mentioned it will go to the M3.
