Moran hit the post and Houghton missed an open goal right at the end.. Niall quinn absolutely roasted donkey Adams that night.. Adams still having nightmares over that game.. Or would have, had he not drank to blot out the memories

Thank you for sharing this. My grandfather used to sing it to me all the time, up until he got sick. I can still hear his voice crooning this tune, and it always made me feel like the most special child on the planet. It still does.

I first heard the verses at the Southern Tandem Rally in Winter Haven, Florida in 1987. Several cold glances were exchanged at the line "...I will permit you to use the brake..." I'd heard the response addressed to a gentleman named Henry, logical since the songwriter was Harry Dacree. As this was 1890's, the line was "...I won't be jammed, I won't be crammed..."

Not sure about that Kevin, sounds like there were a lot of England supporters in judging by the noise after we scored.
