Nereden anladığımı da yazayım. Eden yaprakları sadece üçlü ve beşli olmuyor. Tek sap üzerinde yedi tane minik yaprak dizilmiş olarak görüyorum. Bende çok fazla gül yok. Komşumda var ve çok fazla çeşite sahipler. Hiçbiri yedi tane minik yaprağa sahip değil. Bu arada yerini değiştirdiğim gülde canlanıyor. Şimdi tek istediğim bu kadar muhteşem ve sağlıklı bir güle hakettiği değeri vermek. Onun güzelliğini kapatmayacak bir tırmanıcı alan inşa etmek. Bir yılını dolduran kesim köklü ve bekliyor, devasa dallar çıkaracak. Toprağı beslemeye devam ediyorum. Ayrıca Fransa 9. Bölgede su ve bakımla tüm yaz açtığını yazmışsınız. Bu benim gülün neden yazın açmadığını da anlamamı sağladı. Bu gül çok büyüdüğü ve çok açtığı için herşeyin enaz 10 katı verilmesi gerekir, bu arada bahçem kumlu, kendi arazim için yorum yapıyorum. Su durmuyor, çabuk kuruyor. Organik madde miktarını artırırsam bu gül kendi başına da sorun çıkmadan büyüyecektir. 55 yaşındayım. Gül büyüttüm ve başarılıyım. Ben böyle bir gül görmedim. Bildiğim herşeyi unuttum, Eden bana yeniden öğretiyor. Bir yaşındaki bebeğin üzerinde yedili yapraklar ve tek tomurcuk var. Birkaç hafta içinde tomurcuğun etrafında başka tomurcuklar çıkacak. Yedili yaprakları artacak ve açtığında bahçe muhteşem kokacak. Beni çok mutlu ettiniz. Dilerim dünyadaki herkes bu güzelliği tanır ve korur. O gerçek bir başyapıt.

Knock Out is a great solution for most of USA, as the pressure from Black Spot was making it nearly impossible to grow roses without spraying. That's why we also keep breeding every year trying to find a rose that would fit everywhere (even on the moon) ;)

What are the varieties ? Usually, varieties that are selected in Northern climats with a short Spring-Summer-Winter will have a tendancy to over grow after spring, launching huge long canes. Select compact varieties (compact doesn't mean small, compact means that it stay within its boundaries during the season and doesn't shoot long canes) like Drift, Knock Out and many other that have been tested by us in hit and humid climats. A strong cut back each year, usually in tropics during the rainy season, will enable to maintain a good healthy plant.

​@@Meillandrosesthank you for the great advice. It seems quiet a few plants are putting out skinny canes (eg 3mm in thickness), not variant specific. The weather has been rather hot lately, 38C. Hopefully they will bounce back once the weather cools down. And I will check soil pH too.

Saddly, as there is no proper Plant Breeders Right system in India, there is no specific research done by rose breeders for Indian climatic conditions. We have been working in India many years ago, but without any control and return on our breeding, we had to leave.

@@antonellamalzone1283 understandable, but if we don't select it after 10 years of tests, it is because it is not a good plant... We can make mistake, but our work is to select the best of the best ;)

Hello, We didn't buy them, we created it 40 some years ago and it is widely available in the world. It is one of the few Hall of Fame rose from the World Federation of Rose Societies.

@@whitejasmine5514 as UK is not any longer part of EU, our continental growers that sells online cannot ship plant there. Our license grower in UK are traditionally delivering rose plants to garden centers where you can purchase them. Some of our varieties are not available in UK as the UK growers didn't select them. Hope this helps

@@Meillandroses Princess Charlene of Monaco is absolutely charming, charming, charming and smells fantastic.Flowers stay long time even in dry hot weather. Eden is also fabulous _ soft tender and lovely❤

In the northern hemisphere, planting season is from October to May/June depending on your zone, so it is difficult to find at the end of the season ;)
