You can't help but walk by tailgaters on your way to the game. It's in a residential area and if you are wearing the opponents team shirt, or you just happen to make eye contact with someone, they'll grab you a make you drink beer with them and eat their food. The game is always exciting, for better or worse. If the Hawkeyes are doing great, bring the ear plugs, and if the Hawkeyes are not putting up points, the crowd is equally as loud in disapproval. This is the best game day atmosphere. Make sure and wave to the kids!

Ive been in Iowa a couple times. People are friendly and easy going mostly. I get the.whole "swing state" thing because I lived in Colorado a long time, and thats another swing state. Vote goes one way and your life goes great, vote goes the other way, pack your bags Kind of annoying.

My family and I moved to Iowa a little over a year ago for my job. We did not know what to expect, but we ended up loving it. We loved it so much that when my job of 6 years wanted us to move back down south, I found a new job just to stay in Iowa. We have made Iowa our forever home.

Well, Iowa nice except Dubuque, IA which one of the most racist cities in America...ask the black people who live in Dubuque, they will tell how racist the city is. They still burn crosses in Dubuque and do hateful salutes.

Anyhow, she's in the NE area of Iowa and I am [very strongly] considering moving there. I've been doing alternate weekends up there and will spend the final months of my lease moving up there, assuming we're still here (read: I didn't *mess* up). So I got the Midwest thing going already. I'm a Giants fan so I give whatever-all to Bears/Packers. (Friends who are either...I guess I'll see more Vikings fans and Chiefs I got no problems with.) Iowa is a red state! The only 'swing' part are the left wing nut job cities like iowa city, CR, des moines and a couple others! The rest are hard working down to earth people with common sense and voye red! We don't want to pay for lazy ass lowlifes like what dwells id iowa city and the like! Its a constitutional carry state with stand your ground along with castle doctrine. Which means, FAFO real fast! No need to DemocRATs and the like here, they serve to purpose and are not needed or wanted. It was a Trump last slide in the rigged 20' election and will be again in the upcoming electi!

I lived in Iowa at one time and loved it (CR and Iowa City area) and the people of Iowa. The biggest reason I am unlikely to every live there again is the typical red state problems--child labor, bad labor policies in general, lack of diversity, harassment of poor people, etc. My son's Hispanic girlfriend lives there, and I honestly fear for her safety.

Me and the wife were just here last week. Stayed in marshalltown as its pretty centered. Visited ames, desmoines, cedar falls/waterloo and a few smaller towns also. Been researching for MONTHS on Iowa as we've been looking on and off for years on small areas that are clean, safe, good working economy etc etc. And Iowa has has our attention for a while now hence why we drove 15, yes 15 hours, west to go check it out for a few days. Maid Rite kicked ass by the way. They give you your sandwich and a spoon and you go to town. A few of your videos had help me to be convinced to come out to Iowa and we are satisfied to say the least so far with our experienced

Dr. Robert M. Carney, my family's doctor when I was a child was in Brooklyn, Iowa. Excellent doctor who was highly regarded by my family. I must've visited his clinic 7 times between 1969 and 1971. He took my tonsils out, my adenoids out, and put in and took out tubes in my ears. Brooklyn, Iowa seemed like a huge city to me, too. I was from an itty bitty town called Deep River.
