Hahah you won’t get kidnapped! I drove an ATV and used a tuk tuk to get around it was the easiest way for me. You’ll see it in the video!
Amazing!!!! It looks so chill 🍀🤎
@@ci-belle thank youuuu 💕💕 it def was!!
Hey there, thanks for this video 😊 I see you have a dog with you. I have 2 dogs, I’d like to get into travel SW but I think about my dogs & how that would look like. Just wondering if you could provide some insight on that.
Hey there! Thanks for watching the video 😊. Yes, my dog comes along with me on my assignments, and I completely understand your concerns about how traveling as a social worker might impact your dogs. It does take some extra planning, but it’s definitely possible. Finding pet-friendly housing ahead of time is key, and there are lots of resources available for pet care, parks, and vets wherever you go. I use Rover just make sure to check the reviews! Haha Traveling with pets can add a little more coordination, but having my dog with me makes each place feel more like home. If you love travel and want to keep your dogs with you, there’s definitely a way to make it work! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!
Finger print done on my birthday dayyyyy, yes I saw the date ahahah Great video I loved it as always! ❤ gratitude
Yesss it was ❤️❤️ thank youu!! Next up you guys are coming out here!
Beautiful 😍😍😍
Thank youuu 😍
Great video!! Do you know if you can travel with no license, I have my MSW?
Thank you so much! 😊 Having your MSW is an amazing start! For most travel social work contracts, you’ll typically need a license for the state you’re working in, but don’t worry-there are definitely some opportunities out there! I’ve seen MSW positions pop up in states like GA (though they’re rare, and they tend to go fast!). Many require about 2 years of experience in a hospital or inpatient setting. I would say for now focus on gaining that hospital experience while you prepare for your LMSW. Once you’re licensed, you'll be able to take advantage of ANY opportunity that comes your way! Keep going-you’re on the right track!
🤎🤎 yah sometimes we just need to put our fear aside and focus on what we have to do. Keep going, keep sharing 💯 love you
Yes, you're absolutely right! Lately, I’ve been really leaning into the discomfort and just figuring things out as I go. Thank you so much, love youuu! 🩷
I used to be a social worker up until 2021. I didn't even know there was such a thing as Travel Social Work Contract. I've heard of Freelance, Independent, or Agency Social Work with short contracts.
Oh wow! I'm curious did you fully transition out or just taking a break from social work at the moment? Travel contracts are a whole new adventure- something new every time! ✨ You can land short-term contracts but also if things are going well, you can stay on the same contract up to a year! (Depending on you and the employer on the extension piece) And after that year, you have to take a 30-day break (to recharge) you can go right back to that same contract, as long as you and the employer agree on the terms.
@@travelwgraceis this still accurate for the same state?! I was told differently, just curious.
@@renewilder6807 Hii! Can you explain your question more? I’m not sure what’s your question.
Miss your lovely energy. ❤ Sorry about your ankle 😢 Hope things are going great for you!
Miss youuuu<3 I hope everything is working out well for you! & it is I'm actually back in New Mexico- I'm hopeful it will be a smooth assignment. HAHA

Thanks for watching! I appreciate you!!
Did you book the excursions before the trip or during? Also, where do I book them?
Hi!! I booked them on the resort during the trip! The booth is located before the pool area to your left!
How does licensing out of state work
Good question! It depends are you currently licensed as a LMSW and what states are you interested in?! Depending on which states I can assist you with the process and show you the process step by step. There's specific application fees which vary by state and most people obtain by reciprocity/Licensure by Endorsement. You may apply for licensure by endorsement, which recognizes your LMSW from another state. This process can vary widely, with some states requiring additional exams or proof of experience. Please feel free to email me acquiredlearings@gmail.com - I coach new social workers getting into travel social work world! I would love to hear more!
This is so awesome!!! I am just now stumbling upon the topic of travel social work and I am so intrigued!!!! Thank you so much for this information!! I just received my MSW and have my LSW. I'm in the 2yr post master's time period, just biding my time until I am eligible to take the clinical exam and become completely independent!! Is it possible to become a travel social worker with a dependent license??
Hiii 😊 I love this for you- you’ll love travel social work! Yes it’s def possible to travel on dependent license. I have my LMSW. What state are you licensed in? I’m excited for you! Please feel free to email me acquiredlearings@gmail.com - I coach new social workers getting into travel social work world! I would love to hear more🎊🎉

Thanks for uploading. I'm a black British born and raised guy (Jamaican descent) now living in the Netherlands. I'm planning to go to Senegal in the coming weeks if things work out .... (professional exams to take and to find a new IT freelance contract). My first time in Africa was Cape Verde 18 months ago. Senegal will be my first venture into mainland Africa. One question: Did you have a lot of people coming up to you asking you for money or trying to sell you something? I think after a point that would become very annoying for me.
Thanks for watching<3 Wow how is it living in the Netherlands?! Everything is GOING to work out and you'll find a freelancing contract and you'll love Senegal! I had to think about that question because the only time someone came up to me trying to sell me something was when I went to Gorée Island (ruclips.net/video/sQfv2Er18CA/видео.htmlsi=SgEgvZIrKJLiaPtd) or the touristy areas but that's it not a lot at all and I was there for 2 weeks! Also, my brothers wife is from Cape Verde and she lives in the states now - I def recommend her page! ruclips.net/video/SRUhA2dOTWM/видео.htmlsi=YGg83A1-mdkABqNs I hope everything works out for you!
@@travelwgrace Thanks for your reply. Your brother is lucky. Cape Verdeans are nice people. What's it like living in the Netherlands? Pretty chilled to be honest. I have been here for years now. Initially I came here to work immediately after university for an IT company and decided to stay. England, where I was born is a short hop away by train and until Brexit, living in the Netherlands seemed like an extension of Britain. Everyone here speaks very good English. I actually look like a typical Senegalese man - quite tall, very dark black. I do not stand out in the Netherlands because most men here are tall and there is a black community here. You have the Surinam and Antillean people from the Caribbean and you have also Africans. When I first arrived in the Netherlands my very first friends were Gambian/Senegalese (Wolof) people. They made me feel welcome in a strange land and since then I have always had a soft spot for Wolof people. There are even a few Jamaicans here - my neighbour is a Jamaican! We get together sometimes and speak patois - the local dialect of Jamaica - my mother language. Anyway, I'm off now to an English pub in this Dutch city to watch the England football team play against Switzerland in the Euro 2024 competition. These games are a great get together for all of us from the UK. Take care and again - nice video!!
Loooovvveeee seeing other travel social work RUclipsrs!!! Heeeeeyyy!
Haayyy! hahaha thank you!! After watching your videos last year actually gave me the push to take a travel assignment in New Mexico- so THANK YOU for sharing your travel content!!!💗
@@travelwgrace yassss sis!! Of course!
Love this! Questions, How was it getting licensed in different states? How much/what type of experience did you have post MSW before becoming a travel SW'er? Any tips? I'm not familiar with this at all and I have a family so I'm really curious if this would ever be possible for me
Thank you for watching!!<3 ITS ALWAYS POSSIBLE FOR YOU -If it's what you want to do! 1. If you're already licensed as a LMSW in your state that's a start. If you get a contract that is over 50miles (from your house) it's considered travel and under 50 miles is considered local. 2. Getting licenses in different states varies some states takes 10 days to receive a license and others take 6 months so it depends which state you're interested in. 3. Since most travel assignments are in hospitals, most of them require some form of inpatient experience and that experience can vary. 4. I would be happy to explore this with you! I coach other social workers & life coaching. Feel free to email me at acquiredlearnings@gmail.com and we can set up a call! Wish you all the best!!🙌🏾
Did you book the transfer service from the airport provided by the hotel, or did you use another company?
Thanks for watching!! I used another company - I def recommend 10/10. They were on time and were in contact with me every step of the way. Nacho Transportation Airport transportation! +52 998 231 1398
Do they have tour from las vegas to secret?
I'm not sure if they have a tour from Las Vegas to secret you would have to call to confirm.
Video is allowed too and back pack? That would great for water
Yes for the tour company I toured with video and backpack were allowed!
I loved the video. My hubby and I will be there July 2024 I'm counting down 😂😂😂😂
It was forbidden backpack

Yasss! Im so excited for you!! Def come back and comment how your trip went! Would love to hear about it. The excursions are located by the pool and beach entrance!

amazing video! were the excursions included with the all inclusive stay or was it separate? and if u don't mind me asking what was the price range for all the excursions?
Thank youu for watching!! The excursions were separate and I’m not sure how much exactly but I believe the jet skis under 100 each.
Who did you book your excursions through. Im going there in a couple day!!!
Thank youuu for watching <3 I booked it through a company located on the resort. Its the booth near the pool & beach entrance! I can't think of the name of the cenote :/ after your trip feel free to comment back on how everything went! Would love to hear about it! Have fun🎊
