Thank you for this video! I love your humor and appreciate your thoroughness. I tend to gravitate around the same of paper than you do, though I don't mind if the sketchbook lacks a pocket or is spiral-bound. Have you ever tried the Stillman and Birn sketchbooks? They come in a variety of paper weight, grain and color. They definitely are on the pricier side though :/

This was very interesting to watch! Rly funny is, that my favorite sketchbook is your least favorite one 😆 So here we can see how different the sketchbook taste is. ( the artcreation takes all medias very well.. only watercolor markers work kind of bad and I rly like the toned paper…aaand you can get them also with white paper but I think these are not easy to get) So thank you for this video 🌸

its so interesting how same things can feel so different to different people and its cool that we have such a variety of options so that everybody can find what suits them best! i actually prefer art creation sketchbooks _because_ of the cream coloured paper, it doesnt feel as «scary» to me, kinda like a pre-filled coloured background in digital art. they are also very affordable which helps ease the feeling of "oh i dont wanna waste any paper, gotta be precious with it". but i also prefer drawing with black brush pens and liners and opaque acrylic markers, so the colour of the paper doesnt really affect me that much. thank you for sharing your research, it was indeed very thorough hehe

I love your videos! Just watched the whole thing without even needing a sketchbook at the moment. Just started the art creation one and I was sure the cream colored paper wouldn't bother me, but it actually does, sometimes - Kinda feels 'dark' in there :D I'll definitely rewatch this when I need a new sketchbook. The Leuchtturm sounds great :)

I had so much fun watching this! Very interesting and thorough. I have not noticed Strathmore always being soft covered, one tuber I know always using the larger of the sketchbook is Sally Townsend, check her out. Also one very famous tuber using and recommending Hahnemühle Nostalgie is Jazza, check his earlier videos around the time he made his first art package for beginners. Also I have to say, the sense of humour and sarcasm is on point, chef's kiss 😘

Great art! The markers seem good, especially considering that they aren’t the priciest of alcohol markers. I have alcohol markers of another brand which also have chisel and regular tips and the chisel tip seems a bit different colour than the other tip (kind of smoother and maybe more transparent). So I think it might be the shape which changes the colour.

A last weekend i checked ur channel bc i felt like it had been a while & figured u were just a little behind on it and hten i got hit with 17th of may prep and time has not felt real since. Lovely sketchbook page! That level of control with pencils is witchcraft to me. And im so glad u mentioned sound sensory issues, while ive never personally put a qtip to some pencil but it feels like it would be painful for my sensitive lil baby ears. rip to ur red 7.5 micron (would u ever consider doing an art supplies empties/review video?) have a lovely day <3
