Let me know if you want to trade fleet master hood emblems for fleetline hood emblems. Also I’ve swallowed gas before had to drink charcoal to soak it up. They actually have a type of charcoal that you can drink at the doctors.
@@cannednolan8194 OK, cool! Thank you! The markers on the side of the hood say Fleetline already. But, someone was also commenting that it was the fleet master so I have to look into that. Oh, interesting! I’m sure it will be our last time, lol didn’t know that about charcoal ! Thanks for saying!🙏🏼🙏🏼😄 good to know
@ that was me that commented about it being a fleetmaster. If you want to see what a fleetline looks like watch the video ground zero fleetline
Hot air intake that is just in the way 😮😂😅

The whole integrity of the car is now compromised

The link doesn’t work anymore what are they called?
@@lv.trxpzzz hey there! The brand is called OBX racing sports! I purchased mine through Walmart. Before responding to your comment, I looked on Walmart eBay Amazon and Google to try to find the headers somewhere so I could send you a good link! However, it looks like the company OBX shut down operations at the close of 2024. So, unfortunately, it almost looks like there aren’t even manufacturers that are making a header for the Saturn S series motor anymore. That’s really sad for me to find out! Sorry I couldn’t have been more helpful.😔😔🙏🏼

You did not install a cold air intake. The factory system is a cold air intake because the airbox sucks air outside the engine bay. You did the opposite, you removed the factory cold air intake system and installed a warm air intake that sucks air from inside the engine bay😂. Suggested: Change the name of your channel to Dunce Brothers😅
Ha ha! Yeah, that was some thing we definitely found out after the fact lol! Low-key, the sound is more to our liking, but, definitely was not expecting the drop in power for sure. You are absolutely correct. We will probably be doing another video sometime in the future of us putting the stock intake back on and running tests again to show the benefits of the stock intake. Oh, oof! Lol! Well, I think we will keep our name the way it is. But, there are definitely some learning curves here along the road lol! Thanks for your comment! Appreciate you checking out the video and sharing input!😁🤙🏼
One criticism on your new system is that you used not mandrel bends for your elbows which is not optimal for all the work you did. Regarding your 0-60 times: Were those the same wheels/tires you recorded your previous runs on? If these are heavier than on your previous runs that will slow the car on acceleration tests. If you want to add wheel horsepower, run the lightest wheel/tire combo, you can get a lightened flywheel, change the power steering to a manual rack. Shave the heads .040 to bump the compression, install flat-face valves to bump compression and get a performance valve job and mild head porting. Have the block bored .040 and install .040 over-sized hypereutectic pistons. All said & done that might gain you 15whp😂
Good point about the bends. That’s true. As far as the wheels go, the RPF1 is lighter than wheels we used on our other 0-60 by may be a pound or two. But, they have a 1” larger diameter. Which, another commentor mentioned probably played some part in all the torque and physics of it all. Ha ha ha!🤣 You right!! That would definitely improve a lot for us lol🤩🤙🏼
Again, thank you so much for taking the time to check out our content and share advice! We really appreciate it!🙏🏻🙏🏻
Curious if the service engine light came on after the cat delete. If it’s throwing codes because of the missing cat the computer will try to compensate by running rich to protect the cat from overheating and cost you power.
@@ctusser ha ha! That’s actually a great question! I’m fairly confident that the check engine light has been on well since before we obtained it! From what we have heard, it was pretty much a feature on Saturn‘s straight off the lot lol 😂 But ok, yeah, I’m really not sure abt that🤙🏼

You should look into deleting the A/C and P/S. The first gens were offered without A/C and P/S from the factory, so this is applicable on the 2nd and 3rd gens. The factory non-power racks are out there or you can just do what the Miata people do to de-power a power rack and that works too (the ratio isn’t the same as a factory non-power rack though). But, deleting both the A/C and P/S free’s up a noticeable amount of drag on the engine. Do one then dyno and do the other and dyno to show the results. It’s super cheap and you’ll be impressed. Also, Saturn did offer a first gen non-air bag steering column that you can bolt into a 2nd or 3rd gen that allows for aftermarket wheels if you want to go that route too.
Oh, right on! I think long-term we are hoping to keep the air conditioning option. But, this definitely gives us something to go off of if we do decide to go that route! That’s literally so great to hear about the steering column! I’ve been wanting to replace the wheel for sometime now and I’m glad to know that!!🔥💯

That’s not a fleetline. Think it’s a fleetmaster. But a fleetline has the torpedo or Fastback body style and the roofline is 2” lower then all the other body styles. If you check my stuff I have 47 fleetline. Also 48 Pontiac sedan coupe which is the same body style.
@@cannednolan8194 oh, okay. That’s interesting that you mentioned it. We are obviously not all caught up on our 1947 automotive specs and all lol. The hood is badged as a “Fleetline. “ So we never questioned it. However, the car was repainted many years ago so, I wonder if perhaps it got rebadged as a higher trim level just for fun or whatever. Genuinely, thanks for saying. I’m definitely gonna go a lil deeper with research on the particulars of our vehicle now! Haha 🔥🔥💯🙏🏼🇺🇸
@ check out ground zero 47 fleetline. My car was hit in the front and got a clip off a fleetmaster. Fleetmasters where also the style that was made into convertibles. So I have those badges if you would like to do a trade. Also if your going to be up grading your car. Mainly front suspension. There are a few things you can do. Stock frame with mustang 2 front suspension will need a wedge welded in to get the proper angle. Or you can cut the front part of the frame and weld in the a Nova or Camaro front clip from 67-late 79s. Mine has a 77 Nova front clip. Was popular thru 70-80s 90s the mustang front clip was found worked. Last is frame swap s10 is the most popular.
