Do you have any idea why my scanner sounds like the priority is on ? when the police talk it cuts in and out once in awhile. I have the same scanner. When the cutting comes on the display says primary. thank you, Joe

You say one thing , like channel 3. But the scanner doesnt say channel 3 . It says part 3 . Is this the same thing ? I'm no mind reader sorry ....

I have all the frequencies i need , i cant just enter these frequencies without giving names to them ? ?

The question is how do you get the frequency on the third lane where the narrow FM AM and FM band?

I have the BC785D and for +20 Years it has been working Even after I accidently Broke the Volume Knob --- it still works. On Ebay the $price is Way Too Much. I bought mine from Ham Radio Outlet from Used sales.

My 2006 BCT 15 came with a nice manual/book

well crap.. one of them just all of a sudden started with no audio out of speaker or head phone jack.. did a full reset and then re-cloned it but it didnt help anything.. ever had anything like that happen ??

Why do you need two band plans?

setting an offset to 440..+ or - ??

When I go to set my base frequencies it says out of band what does that mean?

The radio does come with a manual, it is on the disc you get in the box but bothered not to use.

Dont forget to turn off search put on scan if not it will keep search all the frequencies

Is this compatible with Motorola P25 Phase II systems?

Audio almost inaudible

I have been trying to program my Uniden BCD996xt and I have added all frequencies and TGID numbers but when I put it to scan I does nothing. and the primary channel do not show on screen like yours. I am trying todo Edacs, trucking also I have done P25 and does not scan any frequencies. can you help me out please?

well i got my scanner in today, mind you its off ebay and an open box so here we go I watched your video twice, got my data all in order, i got my county Law and fire programmed just fine until i pressed scan theres ALABAMA system built in it from a prev user. So i thought ok I'll try to delete the system, nope cant find it. only system that shows it my county i created. Maybe if i do a reset of the scanner holding HOLD 2 & 9 will fix it NOPE! Alabama junk still there! anyone else having an issue like this? I want to use the scanner but i need to remove this alabama shit so it wont scan it i tried L/O all of it but it still reverts to scan it .

Hey, when you are listening to Group 1, is that all talkgroups in Vaccaville PD? can you change them to a different channel and only listen to a talk group and not dispatch?

Excellent video...one ? When it came to entering my group DEC tags, you showed only 3 digit dec tags, mine are all 5 digit dec...scanner keeps saying bad tag

Can you do me a favor? I'm going to set up a BCT15X for a person in Snohomish County, Marysville Washington. Can you take a look and tell me if I have to set up the band plan for it like you did in this video? I have never done that when I had my BCT15X I just put in the 800 trunking system and it seem to work just fine thanks for the help

Trying to set mine up now following your videos. Not sure if you’ll know what this systems is but on radio reference.com it says system type Project 25 Phase I. What do I do for that one?

Is that band plan universal for all 800mHz systems? If not, how do I figure out my band plan? I have it all set up in Freescan, since I don't have my scanner yet, but I wanted to set it all up so that I can just upload it when it comes.
