I've looked into this, and just realized that my microphone switched over to the new webcam I got for Christmas instead of my normal mic. I'm probably going to end up re-recording this video and the Terapagos one, as this issue affected both. Apologies for this either way, and thank you for pointing it out!

Thank you!! I find for myself it's really helpful to have an idea of why each card is in the deck, and what general purpose it serves (at least for cards that aren't just staples). I was actually talking with someone at a locals event this past weekend who had no idea that Thorton was in their decklist because it allows the switched pokemon to evolve the turn in comes in. Things like that aren't always obvious, especially for newer players, so I hope that my videos help people to learn the why's of the deck, and not just the "how to play". In terms of engagement, I just checked the chart and it seems that it's fairly consistent throughout the video, a bit of a slow decline towards the middle, and then a slight boost before slowly falling again. I'm not 100% sure if that would indicate that some people only want to watch the gameplay, and others only want the explanation, but I'd be happy to try out different styles as well!

Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I'm a little time limited a these days so I often take the opportunities I get to record, but it would definitely keep me more on track to have some talking points before starting! As for the thumbnails, unfortunately I'm not a graphic designer. This one is fairly ugly looking in retrospect, but I've been experimenting with a few different styles. I suppose I'll hopefully improve as I do it more as well!

Those are some great points! I’d agree much more with the first two, because they can be set up in advance, but to be fair if you’re running this deck you might want to throw in triple 7’s as well so once you use both location and weapon if you get to the 7’s you now have a regular hand again, but way cheaper! Maybe I’ll try throwing something like that together when the expansion drops. My buddy also speculated that playing this card off of secret passage would be pretty unreal.

That’s actually a great point, and one that I didn’t even think about! You’re totally right about that though, having more discovers in general should lead to more consistency overall in getting to your key cards.

Ye, I agree and are looking forward to this card in general and in particular to it in combination with kiljaeden. However, you cant fill a deck with discover and utility and expect to win. You need a strong mid to late game (like big beast hunter in the past with the splitting polar bears and the cool legendaries) Except killjaeden I'm not really seeing that. Maybe the starship, but I'm sceptical about it since its a one-off to two-off powerspike. If you ever played an ogredeck you know that's not consistent. I'm gonna try kiljaeden, if that is a dud I'm going to try linecook and if that is a dud Idk, maybe just use naiella as a oneoff like you would a helya.

Honestly, not sure. It seems like the game is fairly well coded to avoid sequence breaks, but you never know what proper glitch hunters might find!
