Bach - Polonaise in G Minor (BWV. 119)
Another piece by Bach down. I thought this piece was quite interesting and fun to play around with. This also happens to be the first Polonaise by Bach I have ever played among the sea of minuets and musettes, so I hope you enjoy my little interpretation!

Mozart - Sonata in F Major K. 332, 1st Movement
Просмотров 516День назад
I have always struggled the most when playing Mozart, and this piece was no exception! My love-hate relationship continues with Mozart... As I learn his music, I feel as though I become a better pianist and learn so much, yet I always feel like I don't do too well with it. But as always, here is my best attempt at this piece of music. I hope you enjoy my interpretation! Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ...

Here is a delightful little Bach Musette! This piece originally goes along with the 3rd English Suite, which is one of my favorites. I hope someday I can play the entire thing for you all. Thanks for listening! :) J.S. Bach - Musette in G Major, BWV. 808 (From English Suite No. 3) #Bach #Musette #Piano
Johannes Brahms - 2 Intermezzi, Op. 118
Просмотров 96621 день назад
These two Intermezzi, published in 1893 and dedicated to Clara Schumann, are some of the most beautiful pieces in the piano repertoire. It is a great pleasure that I can share with you my interpretations of these two sublime works of art. I hope you enjoy, and I thank you for listening, reading, and supporting. Being able to share music like this brings me immense joy! I am especially proud of ...
Handel - Minuet in F Major (HWV. 516)
Просмотров 356Месяц назад
This is an interesting Minuet by Handel that I learned from the Keith Snell book series. This particular piece has three different versions that are played, and you could imagine my surprise (and slight displeasure) when I found out that the one that was included in the book is not any of those! Although this sheet is mildly easier than the other HWV. 516a, b, and c, I hope you can still enjoy ...
Chopin - Nouvelle Étude No. 2 in A-Flat Major
Просмотров 260Месяц назад
I am very excited to present my first Chopin Étude!! I feel as though this is a big milestone for me as a pianist, yet it was surprisingly not too difficult to learn. I am planning on learning much more Chopin, including Mazurkas, Nocturnes, and hopefully more Études! I hope you enjoy my interpretation of what is a much lesser known piece by Chopin, easily overshadowed by his 24 Études Op. 10 a...

Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach - Complete Minuets (With Ornamentation)

A bit of a longstanding project, I present all the keyboard minuets from the Notebook of Anna Magdalena Bach. This has been one of the largest projects I have taken on yet in my piano journey, and I sincerely hope you enjoy it. Although they are simple pieces, they each have their own unique challenges that I had to overcome, and I hope this video may help you overcome them as well. Thank you! ...

The final Minuet from the Notebook of Anna Magdalena Bach! I am very excited to start compiling all nine now into one video. I hope you enjoy my performance; this is one of the trickier ones of the set with those rhythms at the beginning. It will be nice to change up my sight-reading pieces going forward! J.S. Hello 2024. Sorry for no uploads in awhile! I have been having a bit of a hard time with motivation and discipline. However, definitely turning that around and getting back to uploading! I uploaded the first Gymnopédie at the beginning of 2023, and starting 2024 off similarly with the overshadowed brother in C Major. I hope you enjoy this very free and wandering piece. Brahms - Intermezzo in A Major (Op. 118 No. 2)

Well, this wraps up my 4th year of playing piano! This year, I have uploaded 30 videos to my RUclips channel which falls just short of last year’s output. I believe this can be attributed to me playing many more advanced things this year which took much more time. I am particularly fond of the Bach Prelude and these Intermezzi by Brahms that I have uploaded this year which I think really showca...

Here is this year's Christmas special! A very famous piece of music, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is a traditional English Christmas carol from 1739. I am glad that I have been able to upload a small Christmas piece for the last 3 years, it is a sweet tradition that I plan to c...

That is such my favorite piece which you have played ❤ i Like This Performance and relaxed Sound of your Kawai - Bravo ❤ you Play it so nice - you have a big Musical Talent 😊
Great interpretation. Keep posting bro. I struggle with Mozart a lot as well...but Bach seems to come much more naturally for some reason. Mozart's left hand is always so difficult
Thank you for the kind words! I am in the same boat as you, I feel as though Bach comes so much easier to me and I also enjoy his music a lot more. I will keep on posting, thank you for the words of encouragement :)
Hey, could you check out Blagoje Bersa's music? He's very little known, in fact, there's only 2 pianists I know of that have published recordings of his music. My favourites of him are: Fantasia breve op. 56, Venecijanska Barkarola op. 58, Notturno op. 38 and Ora triste op. 37. I hope you'll like this composer and get inspired by him like I was
I actually do know of Bersa's music! I listen to his Ballabile frequently. I do really enjoy it and I thank you for the recommendations as I have not heard those particular pieces from him. I will certainly check them out!
Why didn't I know this piece? It's very reassuring. Btw, how long have you been playing piano?
I have been playing for just about 5 years! :)
Very elegant rendition 👏🏻

How did you learn piano really good ! What advice would you give to a beginner self learner?
Hello, thank you for your question! The absolute top recommendation for me would be to try and find a teacher you can vibe with and work with long term, but obviously that is not feasible for everyone, and here are some answers that more align with what you're probably looking for :) Learn how to read sheet music! It is necessary if you want to play advanced music and large quantities of it. Learn how to play relaxed and using your entire arm, especially forearm, effectively to avoid injury and promote good technique. Look into how to effectively use rotation and try to keep note of what fingerings feel the best for you in each piece you play. Make sure your rhythms and timing are correct! This is something I struggled with a lot as I started off self-taught as well, and it took a very long time to relearn. Metronome may be annoying at first, but it's a necessity a lot of the time. Finally, learn some Bach! Although I am biased because I love Bach, I think playing his pieces (especially the Inventions -> Sinfonias -> Eventually Fugues) is one of the best ways to get well acquainted with the piano and all it offers. I hope this was helpful!!! :D
@@Minotauris thanks so much! Sadly I cant have budget for teacher I am trying on my own
@@wolfie8748 Good luck!! If you look at my oldest videos some of those were done completely self taught. Of course, the quality of everything was much lower but you can still make it very far being self taught :) when it comes to playing the piano, it is totally worth it!
@@Minotauris yes I have watched them you are really good I loved your tone and interpretation! As for bach I think I agree. ı am fairly beginner but I am trying to learn a invention ( first ) and I am already feeling improving a lot

Thank you so much for the kind words :) I appreciate it immensely!
hard score to read for a student trying to learn the piece
Thank you for the feedback! :) I wanted to do kind of "night mode" sheet music, but I definitely want it to be easy to see and read as well. I will do better on the next one!
In my teens I discovered Brahms, and discovered a soul mate, particularly in the late piano pieces: the Fantasies and intermezzi. Of these Op118 is the absolute pinnacle, from the grandly heroic #1, to the otherworldly #6 (Those minor thirds sequences!!) So much of Brahms is built on minor/major third sequences. Witness the Fourth Symphony. PS I play Op 117 #2 in recital
To quote Alex Ross: 'I find him the most companionable, the most sympathetic of composers. There is enormous sadness in his work, and yet it is a sadness that glows with understanding, that eases gloom by sharing its own. The music seems in a strange way to be listening to you, even as you listen to it. At a time when an uncommonly large number of people are experiencing grief, I recommend Brahms as a counsellor and confidant.'

Well played! There are some great hidden gems in the Chopin etudes, like the first of the trois nouvelles etudes (an exercise in 3/4 polyrhythm) and op. 10 no. 6.
Thank you! Indeed, I would love to tackle those at some point as well :) Can never get enough of playing Chopin after all
