Hope is not a strategy. Writing near the end of 2017, and aware of David Spratts "The real budgetary emergency and the myth of "burnable carbon" (Arctic News May 2014) scathing critique of the IPCC and what they ignore I'm most interested in how to tell the patient their condition is fatal. Nothing short of an immediate full court press by all nations, economy be damned, to slow the process in the hope of a miracle will do. I have no hope that will happen.
