I am sorry, but I don't know how you release a video about boosting the profile option when you have no idea what it is or how it works. It only comes into play for clients who have posted a job. For those, it will recommend freelancers they could reach out to and if you win the bid with profile boost, you will show at the top. It does NOT impact the general search as you are doing within this video. You also don't pay any connects for it unless a client actually clicks on your boosted profile. It is very different from the Availability Badge that you pay for regardless which just adds a badge to your profile that can be seen in general search.

If you want to do it properly either steam 1/4 inch or 3/8 draywall and double layer it or more professionally use mesh and bonding - yes wet trade is harder but it isn't that hard as it is a comparatively small area. And in future don't hire your contractor from the ratchets that hang around the car park at Home Depot.

The problem is that contractors not all of them are crooks by subcontracting to the lowest bidder to maximize profits , therefore you end up scammed paying for a bad job, you caught it on time, people always get things on writing and supervise or just pop by the site , common sense will always help.

This is why I get pissed off when blue collar you tube guys are like “you don’t pay me for the time it takes you pay me for what I know” which is just a long way of saying I’m about to rip you off. Most all blue collar work can be done yourself watching a RUclips video. 😂

Me: contractor for 27yrs Sadly so many drywall installers hire unskilled laborers cheaply to hang as many sq. ft. of board an hour as they possibly can. Few of them are very good but they are very fast. I have been using my own skilled carpenters to hang board b/c I just get too frustrated subbing it out and accepting their poor quality work. I feel your pain my friend and I’m glad you chose to fix it. 👍
