I really love OwoNekko’s content and could have just politely disagreed with her AI stance… But I’m not comfortable whatsoever with the whole situation. 😔 I know negativity can be hard to deal with but it doesn’t excuse how she has treated some people. I really do hope she can own up and apologize for it. If she wants to keep her stance… fine. But apologize for the way things were handled at least. Also, if you’re going to maintain a stance you know that the community you are in is going to be sensitive to, you need to accept that there will be criticism. There is a difference between criticism and hate. I don’t except her to accept every criticism, or even acknowledge them. But, I do wish it would be handled with grace.

I found OwONekko's art and loved it, so I kept watching their channel and continued to love their art. Learning about this whole situation AND seeing the Jou they drew (please let me know Jou's actual alias because I don't know and for accuracy I want to), I was disappointed. The whole "misgendering" thing I could understand, though I still think they/them should have been used since OwONekko said they didn’t know the trans person's pronouns. And then that "Crybaby Court" video. I hate to say this, but that was VERY immature on her part. The pronoun jokes? As a genderfluid person, those weren't jokes, but jabs. And that Jou art (AGAIN I DON'T KNOW THEIR ONLINE ALIAS OTHER THAN THAT AND EVEN THEN I DON'T KNOW IF I'M RIGHT). OwONekko was treated with so much respect in that video, and then they went and did something so disrespectful, it's lower than disrespect. I feel bad for everyone affected by this drama.
