Too brief mention of corrosion inhibition and no mention of water pump lubrication bothers me as that is my primary purpose. The supercooling is secondary. I want to fortify my old coolant rather than change it out and also use weak coolant in the South, and am having trouble finding good water pump lubes anymore.

"A safe for all systems, compatible with everything blah blah". I'm sure your autozone, approved by absolutely 0% manufacturers stuff is safe in either a 60's Ford Galaxy or the equivalent, but only a drooling fool would put this walmart formula in a reputable modern cooling system which actually requires manufacturer approvals in order to meet specific criteria. Nice try with your article too. Yes, softened water is likely at the top of the list of what to dilute a concentrated coolant with, but given Mercedes official workshop instructions say to use distilled water if local water properties are unknown, well....there you go. Highly doubt they're the only manufacturer who says such. You're making these claims as if people are running distilled water on its own rather than using it to dilute concentrated coolant/antifreeze. I see Bars owns you guys as well? Imagine thinking Bars Stop leak whatever it's called is a good idea!! HA HA. Talk about something destroying a cooling system!! Better luck next time, guys!

So far I love it. My 2011 Chevy Avalanche oil pressure has improved quite a bit. After a 20-minute ride on the highway before adding Hy-Per Lube I was getting about 28-29 psi but after adding this I am now getting closer to 35-37 for the same drive. Was very skeptical at first but very impressed.

Try reading what coolant manufactures like Peak say to use to dilute thier concentrated coolant. Hint.... tap water if you don't have hardwater, distilled water if your tap water is hard. Deionized water will cause galavantic corrosion. Deoonized water is striped of ions, and will undergo an ion exchange with metals it comes in contact with. This will cause aluminum to turn to a white sludge mess that will clog your cooling system.

Holy shit! I can't say I've ever seen a You Tube video with more incorrect info, They are just trying to sell their very much unneeded product. I've been a mechanic since 1972. I have flushed thousands of radiators of every make from 50's sedans, to 70's muscle cars, to mid-80s Yugos, to a 2016 Rolls Royce. Always use distilled water and the quantity of factory authorized pre-diluted or undiluted coolant to meet your manufacturers specs. Always buy the manufacture spec coolant from dealerships. Never buy from auto stores. Never use tap or garden hose water.

Furthermore how can this make the engine run cooler if the thermostat is opening and closing at specific temperatures? Also if this stuff works so well why wouldnt manufactures add it to their coolant?

I personally have had a good experience with Hy-per cool super coolant. BUT! How do we know that they didn't add some sort of detergent to their competitor's coolant additive before they started the video? I would say that in the spirit of fairness, they should show a video of them adding two unopened bottles (one of their's and one of their competitor's) to the separate sides of the divided bottle, and then shake it. Or simply take the bottles (unopened, right from the store shelves) and shake them.

@@justine5804 Water is the main ingredient, the concentrate coolant is just additives to the water. From what I've been told there is just like a detergent in the coolant to prevent friction wear and tear of the pump and prevent corrosion, keeps things clean free from fungal and bacterial build up. There are coolant additives such as water wetter and engine ice which are a bit different from your typical coolant.
