So i was just wondering once this product is laid what is the expectant life of the product? During summer here we regularly reach temperatures in the 40+ degrees celsius range so how hot would the rubber compound get and would the rubber compound survive those temperatures?

Our home had this professionally installed 34 years ago. The pool area was covered over with carpet 10 years ago but the front of the garage and back deck are just NOW needing to be replaced. We actually have an INDOOR version in our kitchen that is still beautiful!

I had this done by a contractor, long story short it lasted 1+ season and we used the pool mostly on weekends when weather was good. Complete waste of money. Very dissatisfied 👎😥💲🏊♀️

I’ve seen this product on my neighbors garage floor, looks great. I’m taking the leap and doing my cracked concrete pool deck this summer.

I’ve had my pool deck , 1000 sq.ft, covered with rubber decking and after 5 yrs, it still looks like new. Best move I ever made.
You will need a starter kit and someone else to do it because this sucks ass big time.

This is my job. I've gone to a couple DIY jobs after the homeowner wasn't happy with their own work. Yes, you can make quite a mess out of this.

@@marlonquintana3466 Depends what sort of prep is required. Anywhere from $10-$11.50 a square foot. I'm in Canada though so that works out to about $8-$9 US if you're in the states.

Why pour the stuff for the can to the bucket and the bucket onto the rubber why not just pour it straight onto the rubber in the wheelbarrow?
I think they also poured a harderner into the bucket but didn't show it.
My guess is for a more accurate measurement.

Because your dragging grass and dirt onto the primer that is super sticky
Why would you pour the urethane from it’s metal paint can to a 5 gallon bucket and then dump that immediately into the wheelbarrow where you mix it in with the rubber granules? That makes NO SENSE! Dump the urethane from the paint can directly into the wheelbarrow.
In a hurry u forgot the water ...oops shouldn't it be empty ...even if we don't see water we would still like it.

Why not mix it in a cement mixer for a more consistent blend? (I mean your a professional correct?) Don't mislead people as a DIY project. that just proves your a rip off scam POS just wanting to steal peoples money............
A cement mixer will not thoroughly mix the binder. I know cause I tried .you have to use a morter mixer. Or for small areas a bucket and drill
