TOP 15 Condos in Downtown San Diego | People Love Living Here!
North island is on Coronado. It's the Navy base. Nobody calls the north east part that includes Escondido North Island.
DO NOT move to south San Diego…. It LITERALLY smells like hard core poop!!! As matter of fact, there is a class action lawsuit going on now because of this!! I live in this area and have been looking to move way out of here.
I travel to San Diego occasionally. Anyone living anywhere in California and not fleeing to another state as quickly as possible is out of their mind.
I think you are going to the wrong parts. California is huge with a bunch of parts I would never set foot. I live and spend time in the areas that are better than anywhere else in the entire nation. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Ocean side is so low life. It's like down town long beach 😢
I live in San Diego. Super woke. Best to keep to yourself.
"Super woke." Ya, we don't like assholes.
What area would you recommend for someone moving from abroad to work north of black mountain?
+@MK-pk1zw Black Mountain and North of Black Mountain does not have a ton of places to live. You would probably need to look west of Black Mountain. Unless you mean black mountain road possibly?
I wouldn't live in SD if you paid me to, but I visit there occasionally from northern Baja, so this is interesting information. Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to watch!
I live in a p Premier San Diego neighborhood 😮😅!
Wow I never knew Mira Mesa was so small, seeing it on the map is eye opening
As a resident of Mira Mesa for 35 years, we are DENSELY packed in! We’ve got about 70,000 people in 12 square miles, tops…good schools though and pretty comfortable…good location for getting to and from the rest of the county
Don't move here there's enough people already
amen
Im moving to San Diego next month any advice bro for where to go? not trying to bother any locals, coming from Minnesota to be close to family
@@uDrPeppehr Fashion Valley Mall, Sunset Cliffs, La Jolla Cove, for really good tacos try Taqueria Imperial (don't mind the area or awkward drive through), Coronado Beach is really nice and there is a really historic hotel right there that you can check out for free.
Del Cerro / San Carlos area is wonderful!
I love how Escondido gets left out of alot of these videos. Although it's not a tourist destination, it does have better median prices for housing, and isn't as dense as the rest of the county. Oceanside is 25mins west on the 78, and you can get downtown in 35 mins via the 15 freeway, which is the best freeway in the county. Great city for those who want to get away from the southern overpopulation and heavier traffic areas. Closer to the mountainous areas, as well😎
And hot as hell during summer months
Where is the hilltop location at 4:54?
That's double peak park up in San Elijo Hills / San Marcos. Nice little hike with a spectacular view at the end... Or just drive up 😆
As a San Diegan, I can tell you to avoid moving to anywhere in our region. There is no room for you.
No matter where you go, don't move to La Jolla or Del Mar. They are most crime ridden dangerous drug gangland of San Diego maybe worst in California. Don't even visit there, you will get killed.
+@yootoobvyooer 😆 some alternate universe maybe. Not this one.
Depending on the day of the week and time of the day, the 5 freeway will have a different "personality", but should an extreme emergency require evacuations good luck. If freeway traffic is slow and crowded, I exit the freeway and circle around then get back on the freeway. El Camino Real is a good route.
Since about 1967, I've lived in NORTH INLAND, SOUTH COUNTY, CENTRAL COAST AND NORTH COAST. I rate San Diego County much better than Los Angeles County in many respects.
LA vs SD? Come on! Nobody lives in LA unless they have to 😆
5305 Carlsbad Blvd, Carlsbad, CA 92008 ... Wow!
Says under going renovations and coming back to market soon. Last time it was priced for sale at $21,900,000 before it was withdrawn on 12/21/2023. That was after a price cut from $25,000,000! It better be WOW and then some 😆
Avoid everything south of Mission Valley.. 🤣
Some of the most popular areas in San Diego are technically south of Mission Valley! North Park, Mission Hills, Point Loma, Coronado, Downtown, Kensington, South Park, Otay, Chula Vista!
Bonita~ is premier area in the South B ay ~ A Lotta of wealth and houses are hidden among the Eucalyptus trees arces plus horses!
the further you get to the ocean, the more expensive everything is, and the opposite it true...also, east county starts WAYYYYY before Alpine, it starts in La Mesa/El Cajon...also, central has the most gangs and the most blk ppl living there
This was a more technical presentation. I know most locals refer to East County as anything from Del Cerro or San Carlos and East from there.
Encinitas. The rest of SD sux.
Encinitas is one of my favorite neighborhoods. I have 2 brothers there.
Agreed. Everyone move to Encinitas, please stay out of my neighborhood.
Yeah Encinitas is the best city in San Diego. Buy up all the real estate and there
I live in cardiff it's sucks don't move here! The crime rate has gone through the roof since the open borders . Cars are stolen every night house are broken into everyday.
Encinitas is a MAGA hub. Lost its soul and style.
Carlsbad resident here. My wife and I don't even go to the beach in the summer due to so many tourists. Still an amazing town though, Heaven on earth.
So good for our economy in San Diego but so bad when you are a local and you just want relaxing day at the beach. I hear you.
@@sandiegoneighborhoodinsider LOL yeah it's a Catch 22. I appreciate the tourist dollars for the local economy but good lord it gets crowded. We just appreciate what we have. We moved here 13 years ago and could never afford it now. Properties in our neighborhood have literally tripled in prices. It's crazy.
thanks for blowing up IB you douche
😂
that was a creat video , good to see you back
Thanks for watching. Decided to go a little higher level. No one ever covers the east eastern regions
Great information bruh
Appreciate it
Buy a race trailer with living quarters.
I've seen it done before. Sounds like you have as well.
@@sandiegoneighborhoodinsider The race trailers are built well. not like regular rv trailers. buy all aluminum. no rot, and roof aluminum too. no junk rubber roof. different styles to fit your lifestyle. 8ft and 11ft ceilings heights too. this is how i can live here much cheaper!
What part of San Diego are you in?
love your content!
I appreciate that!
Your map with the neighborhoods blocked out is helpful! I’ve watched a dozen La Jolla videos but this was easier to understand and navigate. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! So many sub neighborhoods in La Jolla. You can get turned around so easily.
I live in Bankers Hill, it’s a blend urban suburb and downtown living! A shame rent is still going up!
Hows the airplane noise for you? I know it bothers some people, others tell me they don't even notice it anymore .
Great video. Please do the bottom 7 condos in DT San Diego.
Thanks for watching! I have been thinking about something in that vein. Problem is I can really irritate people if their building lands on that list 😆. It's an easy video to make. What are your bottom 3 if you made the list?
@@sandiegoneighborhoodinsider I don't know enough about enough buildings to say which are the worst. And anything judgement I would make would be unscientific. Perhaps you could look up lowest priced per sq. ft. and draw an inference from there. Especially if they are next to buildings that have good value per sq. ft.
thank you for the great video, what do you think about Pacific Gate?
I like it. I think most people like it but it’s out of the price range for most. It’s newer than everything else in the Columbia and Marina Districts (except Savina). I always recommend taking a look at Savina if you are considering Pacific Gate. I think the location on Savina is slightly superior. Although the majority of the views are probably better at PG.
Thanks for the video. I’m a travel nurse who just got a condo rental in the east village…I’m from Nashville so I was wondering where all the cool nightlife was. So far all I’ve experienced is freezing cold, gloomy weather and a shit ton of people on the roads. I’m literally stumped why people love it here versus other Cali cities but again. I need to get out to the nicer areas you mentioned😊
May Gray and June Gloom are a thing. The sun will come out and stay out anytime now. The best months in my opinion are late September and October. I see you posted this 2 weeks ago so hopefully you found some of the nightlife hot spots by now, lots of good options. Not as wild as Nashville but still fun.
@@sandiegoneighborhoodinsider Night and morning clouds along the coast and inland valleys; burning off by about 10:00. That's not verbatim, but it's close to one of the weather forecasters in San Diego, and what he used to say. Honestly, he could have taped it and just hit "play" every day.
I live in the heart of gas lamp and I am debating going to a high rise or stay at my current location. This video helped a ton!
If it’s an option, I don’t think you can beat high rise life versus something mid rise or in the Gaslamp. Which high rises are you looking at?
Everything is "luxury" now so idk what the difference is as this point
That is a very true statement. Thank you for watching 👊🏻
That's where my Great Grandmother lived when she came over from Genoa ❤️
+@FOHguy Awesome! It’s such a great neighborhood to live in. Any family left in the are
Rent for several months in any city/area you are considering to buy.
+@lewis7315 Yes, very good way to go about it. Many short term rentals available in most neighborhoods.
What does Guest Suites mean? Are those free to use by guests of residents?
+@bigradwolf5001 several luxury high rises will have a unit owned by the HOA collectively and available to reserve and use by any HOA member. The expense is usually included in monthly HOA fees. Hardly free as most of the monthlies for HOA luxury high rises are close to and north of $1k. There might be nominal fee for cleaning and or deposit.
I wish you would add floor levels and rooftop view deck. I was also looking for billiards or snooker hall and table tennis hall.
@alanguishes..I know Little Italy like the back of my hand, live a few blocks from there, in the Italian restaurants , 90 percent of all workers speak Italian Italian. The houses that are there all Italian families, like the Pecorreros, who live right across the street from Felipes restaurant. There are round tables where Italian men meet 24-7 , another place is the Bacci ball the retired Italian men play every day!! I hear the Italian language spoken very frequently there!!
We are neighbors! I see and hear the same things. Once you are here for a short while, you start to notice all of it. Thank you for watching!
your hands flopping is too much!
I'll work on my floppy hands. Thanks for the insight.
Any one to 2 bedroom apartments available in the Renisance building and how much?
To rent or to buy? I’m seeing some options for both 👍🏻
@@sandiegoneighborhoodinsider to buy
Looking into buying a 4plex, would love to connect
Let’s connect! My contact info is in my description. I’ll be on the lookout for a message!
I just visited and the red chair was ruined! They covered “thats amore” and put “stella artois” so lame
It was looking pretty rough before they repainted and added the verbiage. But to be honest, I see it everyday and barely even notice it anymore 😆
Fish Taco is the worst.
Fish taco is the best.
@@langeedu Cole Slaw taste like rubbish.
Love SD.
Hello Dear
i’ve noticed since watching some of your luxury high rise apartments videos, you don’t mention spire lol im curious as to why? i dont hear to much about that building 👀
I sent you a message on instagram with more details. This video was limited to condo high rises. I didn’t include any apartment (all rental) high rises. Thanks for watching 👊🏻
There’s a reason why San Diego as well-known, as America’s finest city! Because it is! So much in this video is pure nonsense! You cannot beat the climate anywhere else in the entire country that’s for sure! And the beauty is unsurpassed as well! There’s nowhere else I would rather live in San Diego, California for many many obvious reasons!!
Nonsense? This entire video is 20 reasons promoting San Diego. There’s no where else I would want to live. Actually watch the video and you will see.
Cool! Visiting soon! My family is Italian, so I was curious about Little Italy. Grazie mile! :)
You will love it! Best restaurants in San Diego. It's small enough to see and experience in a day. Thank you for watching!
East Village is so gross! I have seen a lot of price reductions on the one bedroom condos there. Homeless and drug addicts galore!
Very important to be selective on where you live in East Village. Can change block to block. Thanks for watching 👊🏻
Okay?
ok
