Sri Chinmoy Centre worldwide news & activities, including the Peace Run, the 3,100 Mile Race and other running and sports events, public concerts and musical performances, art and literary presentations, UN-affiliated projects such as 7 Minutes of World Peace, and more. Everything is offered in the spirit of service and is either free of charge or non-profit. Examples include:

Budjargal from Mongolia Completes 3100 Mile Race for the First Time
On Day 49, October 17, Budjargal Byambaa from Mongolia completed the 3100 Mile Race for the first time. At 6:30 pm, the 41-year-old crossed the finish line with a time of 48 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes, and 5 seconds, joining the ranks of 45 men and 10 women who have completed the world's longest certified race, held annually in Jamaica, New York. This was the 28th edition of the event, and Budjargal was the seventh finisher this year.
Known for his strong performances in six-day and 10-day races, Budjargal had never before completed a race beyond 1000 miles or one that lasted 20 or 30 days. His success in this race was a testament to his perseverance and understanding of the course.

Vasu Duzhiy from St Petersburg reached his 12th finish of the 3100 Mile Race in a time of 47:10:51:33. Vasu was extremely grateful to all the helpers and friends who donated their time and helpfulness in this test of the longest race. He continued the 13 laps-journey to the 5000km mark- 47:13:39:45.
