I live in a desert country, cabin air filter is a muat.
It’s called a joke dude, no car would make you do all that to change a cabin filter
Try replacing the heater core on a Crown Victoria!😂😂😂😂😂
@@DieselDog358 dude in all my years I’ve never had to do major repairs on the Crown Victoria those cars are bullet proof I came in when they were being phased out. But if a company use a water pump behind the timing cover driven by the timing chain or who uses belts soaked in oil to drive timing components I can only imagine 🤣
@Mark_conor You ate right about the Crown Victoria being a great car but the heater core is an ugly job on the Crown Vic. I can feel your pain on the Ram.
I can't believe there are so many gullible and dumb people.
Looks nice...... (obviously there's not a car on the planet that won't need work at some point) ... that thing looks pretty solid though,, thumbs up to Mr Tesla
Oh, you don't have a sawsall and duct tape? If you don't like tape, use shoe goo to put the panel back.
I dont think its as bad as chevy saying for a couple years “we dont need to add a cabin air filter box, let the consumers do it themselves” I hate chevy with all my heart
@@Hcscornerstore lmao I’ve done a few of those they want you to cut the hole open above the blower motor and install the filter there absolutely garbage most GM products are. I Was watching an apprentice Looking for the cabin filter on one the other day he was on RUclips and google most of the day. I got a good laugh out of it when I told him the truck didn’t have one.

@@Mark_conor will evidently they don't because there's not one that says for radio fuse and I didn't ask your opinion dumbass.

@@grossteilfahrer I was doing the evaporator, the video was all in good fun.
@@Mark_conor ah ok. I hear you say cabin filter..
Liar! Nice try😂
Ehh... i am not a pro mechanic. But I do belive you've done more than a filter. Cus that is possible to change in 30min, without removal of the dashbord.
This guy is full of it. The glovebox unclips and it's behind it. Edit: less than 5 minutes.

One of my lincoln ls did this. Battery killer for sure. Did you have a parasitic drain?
@@chrisspringer7788 no just the issue with window not going up all the time and the door ajar warning light staying on
@Mark_conor right on, my door would be shut. But still saying rear pass door ajar. And kills the battery, super fast. I just pulled a ajar module from a yard so I'll see how it goes
Can iit be done from below the engine?
No
My vacuum hose cracked and broke off, lost my brakes today. Very scary. Good video 👍🏼
Of course it has brakes it just doesn't wear as much because of regen braking.
All modern thinking EV owners should watch this video, cuz they all have that "no maintenance, I drive & have fun" mentality
Bro will be in shock at the oil leaks from BMW 😂😂😂
If pcv fail will it leak oil from the filler cap?
@@deez6686 A fail PCV can cause oil leaks from many places but mainly the oil pan area. The Point of the PCV is to help reduce pressure in the oil pan area from blow gas that can escape pass the piston rings and make it into the oil pan area too much pressure can cause leaks. It works with engine vacuum that sucks pressure through the valve covers and back into the intake system and that vapor is then re burnt during combustion. So yes its possible to cause and oil leak from filler cap but also sometimes the seals on the oil filler caps harden over time and that cause also cause leaks there.
Yeah I got new filler cap from the dealer but same results . By the way i would like to add the oil will now leak from the filler cap unless I take it for a drive maybe about 5 min are so,than I would no oil leak from the cap. As the car in park it will not leak.
Bro really dropped the whole subframe
@@Blake64 bro don’t cut corners 👍🏽
@@Blake64 takes like 1 hour maybe less to drop the subframe if you have a lift. Now if you’re on the ground with no lift go ahead and cut corners do things your way and stop looking up videos and criticizing peoples way of life 🤣👍🏽
@@Mark_conor dropping the sub from was easier then taking the rad fan out and lifting the motor mounts some? About to do this job and not looking forward too it🤣
@@Blake64 for me dropping the subframe was hella fast and easy plus it gives you space to work, I’m telling you I drop the subframe very fast but you will need something to hold the engine up. Others say removing the radiator or moving the radiator makes it easier so id look into that version first. Theres a video where some dude took clips of my video just to insult me because i dropped the subframe so id look into his video.

How long it takes to erase the code on the system? after replaced
@@hectorjose1 you can either remove the positive and negative battery terminals for a couple seconds this erases most stored codes instantly or it can take a few drive cycles if the problem was correct properly.
FYI...had the hyundai dealer perform this last week...part cost was 20 bucks labor 520.
Yeah I’ve been doing a lot of the Toyotas lately as well same set up
You could’ve easily done it yourself. Not a hard job
@@rstscott it may not be hard for you, but everyone is not mechanically inclined. Even while watching a step by step video some couldn’t do certain things. I personally get these done in about 30 minutes now that’s with pulling the complete assembly out considered the hard way thats how much I’ve done since this video.
@@Mark_conor some people are saying that the steering wheel need to be recalibrated after doing this. Is this true? I would have no idea how to recalibrate even if I were to attempt fixing this myself.
@@JSK95 only ones I’ve had to recalibrate the steering angle sensor on is in Toyotas if you don’t the traction control light comes on after a short drive. Other than that I usually just do an alignment on the other brands.
Terminal 15 is not located in the location you describe, but in the engine compartment next to the windshield. Most of the time, a MAF failure or even a gear error in the box can be caused by a simple blown fuse on terminal 15
@@luisalves8685 blown fuse huh glad you added the most of the time and not all of the time in my case terminal 15 is where I said it was on this particular vehicle and what I stated in the video fixed my issue 👍🏽
My daughters 2016 started giving out PO442 and PO456. I think it's the surge valve. I checked the gas cap already and it fine. Is your video here the same as a 2016 jetta? thanks
@@Perry-cl2ne similar set up yes
My car hit 100k miles I dropped the trans to change all the clutch and bell housing accessories, rear main seal seemed fine so I just let it be. Not trying to deal with this BS lol
It's not a pump, it's an electric motor 😂
One of the simplest, best explained video of a vacuum pump, need to change mine, it's leaking oil all over the gearbox, it's located at the back of the engine towards the top, next to the engine hook. W203 kompressor
You're not showing people how to replace the oil pan gasket. You're just so proud of yourself you want to show off how you removed the front subframe and suspension. That's the only reason you made the video. It helps no one. I wonder if you were able to put everything back on by yourself without screwing everything up? How much you rape the customer for doing all of those unnecessary extra hours of work to change the oil pan gasket? This is a perfect example of overcharging the customer. Probably why you only have 700 subscribers.
Imagine being mad because you don’t have the brain capacity to figure something out on your own so you google things then hate on people 😂 your pathetic man. This is not a how to channel i don’t dedicate nothing to this channel and I don’t post on here nor do I care about subs and likes don’t be a loser man. People like you’re are sickening too much hate in your body. Man I’ve done so much in this industry gave a lot to it only for a bum to come criticize me. So yes it wasn’t a step by step video and believe this is nothing compare to what I’ve done. i simply wanted to share how (I) got the oil pan out the labor called for a couple hours so im sure i did it the right way. Foh scrub
You and your six subscribers can kiss my buttocks 🤙🏽
That valve just allows vacuum to operate the ldp to pressurize the fuel tank, once the tank integrity has been proved the purge valve is activated the pressure flows from the tank through the charcoal cannister and into the intake.
I think you need to do some research brother but thanks for the insight well appreciated
Thanks bro appreciate it
Good video Mate looks pretty straight forward :)
Some people are just clueless no matter what car they own. I have seen ice vehicle owners going over 10k miles without charging oil causing serious damages to their vehicles.
Though I don’t recommend it some oils are designed to go 10k miles in light duty situations
Thanks for the information! My shocks are definitely going bad. I’m replacing them asap
Fucking pain in the dick to get these out 😂
That’s not a gas cap
Yes genius I mis spoke it happens
How did u clean the valves with the head still on engine?
I rotated the engine till both valves on each cylinder was fully closed and i sprayed some throttle cleaner in each one let it sit until the carbonation got soft I used a small pick tool to loosen the lager chunks then I blew it out with compressed air. Doing this one cylinder at a time and charged bout an hour per cylinder because it was time consuming and obviously there is a proper way to do it with a tool I didn’t have that tool so I wasted a lot of time on the car and wanted to get payed for other work I was loosing out on. I also do the same procedure for Volkswagens with the cold start misfires issues they have
@rr_noob9355 ok thank you very much might have to try that. Took my intake off the othet day and the valves were definitely caked up.
Lol why not say howbto move the seat
Where is this located on a kompressor?
Behind the cylinder head more than likely
How many average miles do you see these failing??
Little before 100k
If you get a Tesla or other EV take it to a dealership. Mechanics with this kind of attitude will destroy more than they repair out of spite.
This Tesla is fix and back on the road easy money. But yeah man you right, thanks for the hate btw just means you hurt right.

I cant tell you how many people think that the motor is the wheel and cant be convinced theres an entire driveline full of coolant and oil.
