@@dielfp4424 yes, though I like to mention this is a port from CTR ps1 and not nitro fueled which was added as a steam workshop item for the game. There has been changes since my initial video to fix exploits, added shaders to improve the environment color and so on. The space section still doesn't have moon gravity as that is not a thing in the game.

All due time! I would rather have a polished game than a buggy mess. At least now there are so many custom content (tracks, wheels, karts and characters) in the game and the beta has online working nicely too.

Game has over 150 custom characters and 50 vehicles with colour options and 50 custom tracks, within one month of beta and a small community. The game is scheduled to roll over from beta to launch so its effectively already "out" if you dont mind some missing and WIP features. Online functions flawlessly and the game is a blast. Release likely late Q3/Q4. It is gauranteed to launch and is MUCH more likely to succeed than any other kart racer in the past decade since MK8 launch. Crossplay with mods on console too...

They did that with the 1st game when it wasn’t ready at all and look what happened

@@Alberto309 definitely! This is far away from a good time trial run. It was my first completed attempt after driving through the track few times to discover paths and shortcuts.

@@tobiaszbrzezinski9473 , not open. You will need to receive a beta key so join up the main discord server and sign up. The main goal is to give feedback and get stuff fixed in preparation of release. There are no release date yet solely because the game is still focusing on improving the modding tool and fixing other game aspects so it is hard to decide the exact date without ironing out most of the issues. It may release within this year highly luckily.

@@TroboTicTac , as it being advertised in official Twitter and such? Nope However, the dev himself made modding tools that are publicly accessible through GitHub. We've been using them to mod custom tracks, characters and animation, wheels and karts. Custom music is coming soon

Polar pass ripped from CTR99 and modded to The Karters 2. The custom character is Capricorn Stu from Brawl Stars. So far the tools allow you to add race tracks, battle arena, characters and animation, karts, wheels, stickers and voice overs. So far we just tried characters and tracks so hopefully soon we will try the rest!

Hey! There is u-turn (ultra turn) tech that we call airbrake and it is slightly different than ctr. You can do u-turns in midair at the cost of speed and partial reserve reduction (the input is simpler: brake + left/right direction in mid-air).
