I think this is how they make their kicks so phat but theres a certain master/mixing chain at the end that i cant be bothered to recreate (its just compression and more eq im pretty sure) but ppl should create their own unique sound anyways. I rly hope these little tips help improve ur sounddesign :D

@@KaoticIndustrial ik ur probably exaggerating but i just wanna say this: While uptempo kicks dont take longer, they are just another way of making kicks that bring a different energy and can take quite a bit of time aswell (like finding the right textures and especially mixing them into ur drop properly). I do agree though that the basic uptempo kicks from like lekkerfaces n shit are way too overused because they are simpler to make, they usually dont even hit that hard and it does feel like its just an easy way out over making an actual good kick, no matter if uptempo or another harder style :>

i cant figure out how to get the lekkerfaces kick to sound right (or even close) could you help me with that somehow?
i mean i dont know what u do, only things i can think of are: use a different wave shaper like the one from khs (i think they have one) and maybe try to make ur peaks on the proq3 not fully tight.

@@timoburghardt3337 xD ill answer in english though just so if others have the same question they can easily understand it: i dont rly have a technical answer to this other than wave shaper being more harsh but hard hitting and fast dist being nice and soft but bass heavy (louder low end than mid and high end so kicks can sound quiet if not mixed right) ist einfach ne sache des geschmacks und welchen sound du erreichen willst
