where can we get the new tumbler/keys?
Thanks for video
This was awesome! Helped me in less than a minute! Damn you slothead set screws!!! Anyone know of an electronic retro fit to a door exactly like this so I can open without a key? Wifi enabled from phone or code or fingerprint? I know of all the usual residential options but looking for perfect fit for this door without having to cut a larger hole into steel frame
Great vdo❤

Thank you so much for this...it saved me from a situation I was in at a office we just signed a lease for where the keys weren't working!
What are the different sizes for the tumblers
I have the key for the exterior lock. Not for the interior lock. Can I remove interior tumbler and replace with latch? What would be the cost for interior tumbler and key? Is it cheaper to buy a new lock set? The locks are Schlage .
Simple easy video without the nonsense talk. Thank you
Thank you very helpful needed it for my shop

What to do when the inner twist knob breaks in the locked position and you have to key to unlock?

Can this key change into an automatic keypad to open the door?
Yeah but if it's an external it's gonna be a security risk imo
Thank you! Been fighting this damm thing for 2 hours!
Cooler, thanks!
OMG this is so easy. Locksmith wanted $350.00. This video saved me money.
Where can I find the lock head
Thanks dude, mine fell out this morning at the shop I manage. Saved us time and money my friend!
thank you so much for uploading this video. I had a broken key stuck in my work place and unscrewing the whole lock and pounding it out did the trick. Thanks again your a life saver
The setscrew does not effect how the key operates unless the cylinder is not threaded in all the way. It is also not called a 'tumbler.' Those are the pins inside the lock. It's called a mortise cylinder. This is a stupid video.
Stupid with the terminology maybe, but it's probably saved people hundreds of dollars calling a locksmith for what could be a 5 minute DIY job.
Vertical video = utter fail. But, helpful otherwise.
thank you sir
You just saved me $300.
Phil Lanzarotta saved me $350
What size/type of "allen key" is that?
thank you verymuch i tried it and it worked well.
hi can someone help me? I did every step flawlessly and after completing the job the new key will not turn.its lined up properly eith key hole on bottom, the set screw is not too tight.....any suggestions?
Without the cylinder in the door, can you turn the key in it freely back and forth? If not, you may have a cylinder that is not paired with your new key. I typically buy new 1" cylinder, key combos for $11-$13 and never have a problem exchanging them for a new tenant. Let me know how you were able to resolve your problem. All the best.
Thank you! Great video. Very helpful.
Thanks for posting. Not what I exactly needed but did answer my question!! Thanks!!
