Introducing Project R33 | First Walkaround overview
Just making this video gets me excited about this car again! Introducing my Father/Son project car a 1993 R33 Nissan Skyline GTS25T. My dad and I are super excited for this build as the driveline is fully sorted and ready to party. However, the car still needs significant work (especially suspension wise) before it can be put on the road safely. So tune in to find out all about what this car is all about, as well as what we want to do with it in the future!

~7.6 to the hundred is pretty good given it was driven, not 'just operated' I commute with a 1.4l golf and see around 6.7 on average, but that's without trying to be efficient, my old 3.8l commodore would see 13.6l/100 under similar trips. Highway journeys make a difference though, took a 747km round trip to a rural town, managed about 5.2l/100, still had 200km in the tank after arriving home, AC on the whole way too. It spooks me the kind of numbers cruiser / patrol v8 drivers boast about, those things are crazy thirsty even down the highway.

Thanks for your help mate, Im returning my JDM 1988 Honda Prelude from NZ to Japan this year (my Japanese wife and I have a house here)- we also live in Australia but found they make life far too hard and expensive to import car there now plus with the amount of revenue gathering going on with the roads there, its far cheaper to move i to Japan where I can enjoy it on their nice roads within their sensible legal system. Its also far easier to access race tracks in Japan than in AU now.

Powerful and fast cars do not necessarily equal fun. On the contrary, slow and weak cars do not mean it is not fun! I have experienced both and I can confidently say the Cappuccino is as fun (maybe more) than my Supra. It is a different fun though. I think a lot of people that have never experienced small underpowered cars do not know what they are missing! Bonus part is great fuel economy!
