Europa park does have a free to use fast pass system on select rides.

There’s universal Uk theme park that will dominate once it is built and completed so theme parks like this will struggle so badly they will have no choice but to close down its all depends on how successful is universal.

I think it should be higher so less people buy it. Similar to Universal. I know people who go to Universal and happily pay over $100 for the fast pass, and then come to Disney and complain about paying the $25. I feel like there’s a double standard and people judge Disney too harsh.

They shut down morecambe frontierland then southport pleasureland and trashed the site maybe Blackpool next? Because of what they did to southport not been in pleasure beach since and i am not the only one

Its not too cheap. Youre paying to sit in a line. Everyone paid to go to the park, so everyone should be waiting in the same line. The fast pass system is broken.

Just let people come and walk around like years ago it will bring people in some don't go on anything but you have lots of people that see the rides and say sod this I'm going on this they pay and on the go let people just walk around and that's the way do away with the tickets and let people just walk in and spend as they do like years ago charging to go in the park it took it away from they families and a lot of other people trust me when people walk and see things they tend to spend now a lot just stay away and it lets a lot of people down people always went to the pleasure beach toilets chips rides even little ones you can make money on stop being greedy get rid of paying to go in trust me just let people in

Overpriced low quality All round spot, good to see even with the cost of living crisis people have better taste than spend cash in a dying town, worked in that place for five years, depressing locals, depressing shipping area's rubbish filled streets and back alleys not Safe at nights, gave up trying to live qbd work there wouldn't recommend a visit

would a better option be scrap them all and just charge a few extra quid on ticket price - surely people would be far happier knowing they wont get to front of the queue and then 20+ people slide in from and take their seats. New strap line for parks maybe 'Welcome To Our Park - But Don't Bother If You're Not Rich' ?

It's full of Illegal immigrants now.. No Thanks. Loved Tacky Blackpool as a kid though. Always remember it being very busy and loads of Entertainment on. You could never get bored.

Took my mrs and daughter to visit my mother in law in Fleetwood and after I suggested we go to the pleasure beach for a bit.....Until I realised its now pay at the gate at a cost of £130, safe to say we didnt go in

I can remember a time in the 70s when you could just wander around the Pleasure Beach and each ride had its own manned turnstile. You just paid for whatever ride you wanted to go on. I think The Revolution was 50p. Me and my mate thought it was a bit steep but we still went on.

They want us to buy stuff... what they should do is have vendors selling in the queues. Disney, are you listening? Some attractions have built in spaces where you can set up a vendor. For others, carve out space in the rope maze for a walking vendor. Cold drink while you're stuck in the line on a hot day? Churros? Hats themed for the ride? Duh. Am i the first person to suggest this?

Great presentation. I actually live in Blackpool and haven’t been on the PB for years. The current business model must be more profitable or surely they wouldn’t implement it. Greedy b@stards. Perhaps the Thompsons need more money. Yeh right. In the words of PT Barnum: there’s one born every minute.

Disney $#ot itself in the foot by removing complimentary fast pass. Now there is no incentive for me to stay on property. Fast pass early access and Restaurant reservations were the only reason I stayed on property. And now I don’t even miss it. The hotels look like the cheapest Midwest holiday inns with the untheming that’s happened. So now, I save thousand by staying in a far superior resort just outside the bubble. I still get complimentary parking, shuttles, better pools, better golf, actual Room service (which most Disney resorts not longer have) and so much more. By saving that big stack of cash I can justify spending $$& Genie+ and Disney is getting a fraction of the $$$$$ I spend, because of their subpar service, resorts, and greed. In a nutshell, I’m saving a ton and skipping the line.

I tried to book tickets a few years ago. From what I vaguely remember, they wanted so much personal information, face photo etc. Plus, you needed a smart phone too. I gave up in the end, it was obvious they didn't want any customers (went to Alton Towers instead). I love the Chinese Gardens down there.

I love the new ride they have got there but I wish they had a few more thrill flat rides, yet its hard to add thrill to littleins

I think the best way to do it is either Faatpass+ or go Universal's route and it's very expensive, but included in the Disney Deluxe/Villas hotels.

Look into private equity investing, they have destroyed shops all over uk and hotels it’s another word for asset stripping , I looked it up and investment owns merlin and others in Blackpool called black stone they were or maybe still is linked to black rock , maybe Amanda sold some of her shares to black-stone or some other private equity investment firm .

We were there 2 years ago. We used Genie+ one day in Hollywood Studios and agree it was rubbish there and never bothered again. Universal queue times were SO much shorter than Disney with the odd exception. Hagrid Motorbike and Gringots were crazy unless you went first thing and Hulk was always busy first thing as its the first coaster you come to. But we walked on to Velocicoaster in half and hour every time we rode it. As long as you used the app and checked for short queue times there it was great. Disney was queue hell. I say get rid of fast passes and everyone queues. Its all fair. Admit it if your in line and someone jumps in front with a fast pass you instantly hate them 😂

On the last point, when you exit the park at the roundabout, turning right away from Windsor may reduce time in traffic.

The new Disney system also doesn't work for guests in the UK until you are in the USA which really sucks and all the decent rides as times will have been snagged days before 😭

Back in 1982 I used to visit my local pier every saturday through the season. It cost 30p to get on the pier and a wristband was £2. The rides all opened ( including a corkscrew coaster) at 9am and closed at 10pm without fail. The recent trend of staggered opening of rides, running only one train and early closing is the ultimate piss take.
