Hello Chris great last Alton Towers video, i last went for the 4th and last week of October for scarefest, oh yeah congratulations getting membership tab

It's only a minor thing but I love that they brought back the paper maps! Not only helpful to plan your day but a great little free souvenir. I also like the antisocial qr codes they have in the queue lines ( I don't remember seeing them before, but maybe they were there and I didn't notice them)

Wickerman has great theming, airtime and laterals and it’s one of the best woodies I’ve experienced, cu chullain could beat it if you like a more intense ride but if you like a full package ride wickerman is better. I cant decide

Not been this year. Last year really killed me with having to public transport from Stockport and back in 1 day. I'll come back when skyride is back. This vid really does make me tired just watching with the walking. X

Towers I went to first time last year and was blown away. Was quiet also as off peak. Still people about yes but quick ques. Loved the ambience especially the soundtrack. Actually made me quite emotional somehow. Especially in the gardens. The music makes the park and the beauty of it all. Even by chance met some guys who I have became now friends with permanently

I’m going to bet the rapids goes next, pumping water is one of the most expensive running costs which is why it’s a lazy river now. The Tories really should have started building nuclear power stations for cheap energy 14 years ago now. Labour will do nothing but wind and solar that doesn’t work so these parks are going to struggle more and more on the energy costs. I wonder how much energy LSM uses vs hydraulic, cause Rita will probably go soon too.

Only place to eat is eastern express aha. Shame you can’t get your Merlin pass discount. Or at a push if you do have a Merlin card pizza and pasta buffet.

I don’t know anything about anything because I’ve only been to Alton Towers once (June 2024; I live in Ohio), so I am in no way qualified to know if it was a good season or a bad season. BUT. The day we spent there this year was spectacular. I really hope to make it back soon, maybe even in 2025. In other news - isn’t it the best when you can crash at a nearby hotel after a long day of amusement parking, and not have to drive hours and hours?!?? One of life’s little pleasures, especially as I get older and generally more exhausted. 🤣

How is it your last ever ride on Galactica? A re-theme it's just new themeing, does that mean when you get an MOT on your car you are driving a new car afterwards or when you decorate your house you then are now living in a new home? Like are you an adult with a fully operating brain, integrity costs nothing, try it sometime, reverse evolution at its finest lol

15:18 I went on the 6th November for my last visit and me and my dad had to evacuated off curse. It was cool to see things you wouldn't normally see. But ye it's a bit of a downer with curse, turning tunnel stopped working just before scarefest and has had alot of downtime this season

I, like many of my friends didn't visit this year due to constant ride closures and availability. Put us right off from the off, when you have a season pass like most streamers its a bit more bearable and things happen I get that but when you pay all that money for a day pass its not acceptable to have so many not running. One of the days we had planned to go over 6 main rides were either out all day or a big part of it, dodged a bullet that day. Come on Alton towers up your game for 2025 or we won't bother next year either!

Still gutted we missed each other! The only other person we saw was Shawn, but it appears like we literally kept missing each other based on your day - for example, we were in Rita whilst it was raining, and Nemesis when you were queuing for Galactica since when we arrived Gal had just gone down 😝 We thought the season evened out, it was good, bad and everywhere in between, but it started strong and ended with a bang 🎇 We'll have to make sure we meet up next season at some stage. Great vlog as always dude! 😄🎢

I think nemesis reborn and hex's return really made a difference the fireworks were so good and compound was a really good maze Issue is alton towers is obviously broke and is struggling to invest in stuff and the amount of crap they had to go through making them constantly spend it is horrendous Another note is the ride access and ride availablity is so bad 3-4 weeks ago with the incident where all the rides shut is shocking funny it happened last year but they had a reason for it. For ride access my sister is autistic and need rep but it's so tough trying to get it she's been rolling on the floor the whole time makes me wonder why merlin can't just put timeboards for ride access and fast track Also the rides look so bad mainly x-sector oblivion's lake has literally turned into still water and the track is so rusty and then the smiler I mean it's the most popular ride in the world like it needs investing if the world knows about it and I know it's ment to be themed around an abandoned hospital but you don't actually abandon it apparently smilers going to start it's tlc soon they've started during the mid season which is another point Why can't they have waited for closed season before doing the single rider queues because it's then less of a hassle I mean they closed spinball for about 20 days it's crazy how impatient they are I'm not bringing galactica into this because it's probably going to be gone next year because it's definitely going

I have only ever been to the Towers twice in my life until this year. Went to the opening, again in June and final time last week. Fair to say we had zero issues with ride closures or waiting times on all 3 visits. If I had of experienced that one the first day it would hugely put me off visiting again. Great vlog.. thanks for sharing 🎢
