Drum Sounds | Mappa Burl Maple Snare Drum

Released May 2024, Limited Edition of 10, Available as 6.5x14” in Aqua Marine Fade finish The sound of the Mappa Burl snare has the body and punch of maple with a bright overtone that is a characteristic of the walnut reinforcement rings that have been added to the inside of the shell. The sound of the drum is enhanced with a sharp attack and added projection provided by the die cast rims.

To me it's ugly. I certainly don't want to pay extra for a piece of furniture that you pound on with a stick. There are plenty of great drums with basic finishes that cost way less. And NO ONE can prove that a good three-hundred-dollar snare drum doesn't sound as good as a three-thousand-dollar one. But if you think it's worth it, and have the money to waste, then by all means buy into this B.S. and show it off.
Blue fade looks good but a mocha brown fade would be sweet with that burl

It’s a Noble and Cooley union series kit (made out of tulip wood). It’s truly amazing … not just the finish…but the sound! (I should know … it’s my kit 😉❤️👍🏻)

A Beautiful snare drum, I have a 14x 5 SS maple natural satin finish with the branded logo (not too dissimilar in looks to this one) and I cannot describe in words how much I Iove/like it it, but one word springs to mind and that's "musical" it is a vey musical and expressive instrument.
