Best you can do to avoid unconsciousness is to drink anything sweet, it happens to me when i see blood (human blood only) and i instantly drink anything sweet like juice, you do have time before you go unconscious to drink few sips of juice and suddenly whole body goes to normal. All these exercise they showing just don't work

I think this is what happens to me. It’s happened twice now, once on December 9,2022 and once today July 17,2024. It’s very short but within that time my brain thinks “okay I’m sleeping, wait why am I sleeping, I’m supposed to be doing ___” and then my vision gradually comes back. Both times witnesses have said that I was kind of shaking on the floor, and the first time it happened they said that my eyes were kind of rolling back (the first time the people were closer to me, so it might’ve happened the second time) I went to the doctor the first time it happened and they couldn’t explain what it was, so thank you for this!

This is so eerily similar to my experience. I always think I’m being woke up from sleep , and my chest hurts and has a lot of pressure and I can’t really see or move and I’m trying to figure out what I’m waking up from and why I can’t move or speak, I also scream for help every time and remember none of it. I spoke to a dr about it but they kind of blew it off as a low tolerance to pain, even though I’ve experienced much greater pain than the times I passed out. My wife says I convulse and shake and snore

There are different techniques you can perform to prevent an episode. 1) is squatting 2) cross your legs and tighten your legs and buttocks 3) put your hands together and try pulling your hands apart. The idea is to get blood back to your heart and brain before you faint.

I just had an syncope episode during sex 😅😅😅Maaan i hate that feelingbof blacking out....my poor tinder date nearly got a heart attack as she didn't know that i have LQTS and thought i was dying.... 😮Atleast she was vwry sweeet, caring and extremely helpful and understanding. Sorry if this is a bit Tmi but i was trying to see what ann episode looks like. She said n fell down, went stiff, eyes rolled back and was out cold for about 5 mins. It felt like i was dreaming but that feeling when waking up is HORRIBLE. Is that what being in a coma feels like aswell?

This was happening to me about once or twice a year in the last 10 to 15 years. I definitely noticed a pattern in that it would happen after I have had some alcohol even if it’s not a lot. Then when I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I start to feel the fainting sensation While I’m urinating, and the only way to stop it is to stop urinating by force. It’s like my blood pressure is dropping fast. That worked for many years. I would just slowly lay on the floor and wait. Unfortunately, the last time it happened I fell flat on my face, ended up in the ER with 9 stitches on my forehead. Luckily, I was not wearing my eyeglasses at the time I fell. I stopped drinking since then. It hasn’t happened again it’s been three years. One thing I noticed is the starting position on the video is almost the same as sitting on the toilet. Look closely how they designed the mat. The legs are positioned lower. Now I’m wondering if maybe this happens when the toilet is too low and perhaps having a higher toilet is safer? Maybe something about blood pooling in the hips? I don’t know… Something in the body that happens in that particular semi squatting position. I usually sit while urinating but it has happened also when I’m standing. I also noticed I’m easily prone to convulsions. Like when I have a fever that’s a little high I get convulsions. I am skinny with very little body fat, it feels like I’m freezing.

I had head jerks with entire body movement and hit the back of my head multiple times and I felt and heard everything….just couldn’t do anything about it. I could only think in my head……it was like the episode when Derek Shepard died in Grays anatomy. I was in my head like “wait who’s pulling me?”, “Is this a heart attack? No, there’s my heart” so many thoughts in a few seconds. Scared the hell out of my partner

Once had a Vasovagal Syncope episode a few years ago when I was 19. Woke up one morning not late, but severely behind schedule for work. My mother came in yelling for me to get up and ready, as I was. I began getting into my factory uniform and literally the next thing I knew I was face-down in my room's corner screaming with a stinging sensation all over my body as I was sweating profusely. Called out, got checked out, head scan, etc. Came back as Vasovagal Syncope.

I have a predisposition to vagal response when experiencing sharp pain in my wrist area. Have experienced this quite a few times during cannulation. I tolerate arm, elbow and back of hand extremely well, but the moment cannulation is attempted on my inner wrist, it induces a severe vagal response causing nausea and syncope. Fascinating how the nervous system responds to certain triggers.

I used to feel fainting coming a whole morning, then black out bang my head and wake up, never got it checked, from 16 to 21 this happened, then began morning nausea blindness and tingling and numbness and the worst inability to do anything so id close my eyes a massive wave would rise to my head, it would ring and i would come out of it without falling aslong as i put my eyes into my inside elbow and hold onto a counter. Then bacame random feeling thoughts episodes of clumsiness, idiot like behaviour and without reason so i continues to learn physics, science, history, and everything i can with over the top excitability and joy, later learning i would develop tonic clonic seizures, generalised idiopathic epilepsy, constant unsteadiness and focal, and absence seizures bad memory and feeling lost whilst in the middle of a super strong thought... The fits ultimately have left forgetful of the conplex vocabulary i once had 😢 and a lot of the things im fixing in life could have been solved had i been diagnosed at 16, instead it was 24 when i woke up to water over me and my partner on the phone to 999 with the ambulance coming.. syncopy fainting and epilepsy have a massive stigma and telling people im disabled doesnt help the fact ive always had amxiety and depression, and now got left thoracic msk, maybe due to the fits i hadnt noticed i had before it was noticed and acted upon. Now im carbamazepine and have nothing for my absenses and focal aware seizures meanin a lot of the time i see darkened vision tunnel vision get numb or strokey, and tingly or stumble, then i stare blank out and forget everything everyday even though i will always say i won't haha if i stand up theres never a promise i dont have an aura and then it go away sometimes i have a good few hour before been in a thought maybe talking to somebody and have this forgetdul anxiety in the pit of my soul and realise im trying to absense its weird
