My youngest daughter and her hubby are massive lego fans. I gave Angela (wife) a present of the Bara-Dor kit and together with Hannah they put it together. Angela is so impressed she is now going to get a case for the model. She also intends to aquire another lego set I think of Rivendale

We moved house and so it was necessary to remove and reinstall my home workshop. At my age (77 yrs now) not to be recommended!

The continuing saga of my attempt to build a ' freelance' 3 cylinder garden rail live steam loco.

I bought a model Mamod fire engine and decided that as a 'mini' project I would make a few modifications such that it might more closely represent a prototype circa 1914-1920.

This is the first of a two part vid where I hope to modify a mamod model fire engine to be a little more like a Dennis Motor Fire Engine of 1914 vintage.

Angela bought the castings for this engine as a combined birthday/2002 christmas present. Took me a while to get started on the project, but in the end I am pleased with it.

There are a number of these pumps in Lincolnshire UK near where I live and I thought it would be interesting to make a version. My version however will be operated by a static steam engine not an electric motor (as the prototypes around here are).

This is the final part of my series regarding my attempt to build a diagonal paddle steamer engine.

I sometimes find that I struggle to fit nuts in confined spaces. This vid shows a dodge that occasionally gets me out of trouble.

This is a 32 mm gauge model of a Lynton and Barnstable heritage locomotive. The locomotive was built by Archangel models sometime in the 1970's.
