hi! i was wondering if i could have your permission to use some of your video clips of the islands for an upcoming documentary promo videos that my group is assigned to creating for the upcoming documentary that we are traveling to the azores in march for! my university travels and does these documentaries each spring, last year we went to spain! this year is the azores focusing on the viola da terra; but i just wanted to reach out and ask if this would be okay and full credit would go to you of course in that section of the documentation for it !

Carlos great to see you spending and showing so much of Lajes. I have with my kids our family house in Lajes from my late wife and spend our holidays there. Fantastic you took the time walking around Lajes and it was for me being back home again. Video gives a real impression of the village. Lajes and Pico island have its own unique beauty.

When it comes to Burger king Mcdonalds and KFC - those are a taste of home for many tourists. The really Kool thing in Azores for me is that those fast food chains here have a huge amount of vegetarian options 😀🙏🙏. Its absolutely great! I never saw that in Toronto.

Thanks for sharing a snapshot of your Christmas memories. So glad your mom will be home to enjoy the holidays with her family. I would say in recent years that McDonalds has surpassed Timmy's for its breakfast coffee, though I do like the social atmosphere a bit more at Starbucks later in the day when getting together with friends.

Sorry to hear about your mom Carlos I had to go to Terceira for 3 1/2 weeks from January to February 2024 because of my dads surgery and my mom is sick also so I had to take care both of them. I know how it feels hope she feels better soon.

Send prayers for mom to get better. Yes, I was in Pico last September’ on S Roque you stayed there for 10 days me and my husband we had a wonderful time. I had family Large do Pico has most very surprised you got invited on my uncles house to go make some wine he has a adega on Prainha it had a really good time. We all did had a really good time doing that used to make wine with his father here and Rhode Island but we live now in Texas for 26 years. I am from I’m from.Faial my husband from Porto but you loves the islands special pico. We didn’t go there for 30 years. Now we trying to get must we can spend time between the two islands was a very good experience with me and him being there we went all around people we went to the church today and your place, S Mateus church are we remember going with my parents when I I was late Pico very calm place very peaceful We’re going back on September again for three weeks between the two islands and I’m I’m taking the sister-in-law and a couple friends they want to experience what we experience last September there they love the pictures I took from the twins, my sister-in-law, Mary, my oldest brother, and they were gonna go there passed away with a head attack and could not make it to go back the price she loves, but she’s gone with us. She’s American girl. She’s been on Faial Pico and S Miguel 50 years ago on a honeymoon of course everything works out different now and I know she will enjoy it with us and this couple from Texas friend of mine thank you for your videos. We really appreciate we watch it all the time. God bless you both. We might see each other if I go by your house God bless you

Hi there! Canadian (Torontonian) here! Glad to hear it's a very mild winter so at least I'll be escaping the cold a bit when I go in early December. Would you be able to comment on if the weather was any different in early December vs. mid-December? I'll be there for a few days early December and i'm hoping to do the Mt. Pico hike if the weather allows for it

Glad to hear Mom is doing better, our prayers are with her. I took care of my mom for the last 5 years in my house, at 93 she passed. Always grateful for that time with her. I was born on the island of Santa Maria Açores left with my parents when I was 5 to go to Canada, I'm 65 now. Time flies. I went back to visit with my parents a few times, and I can't believe I was born on this beautiful island. Thanks so much for your wonderful Videos
