Join us this week as we head for the trails up the Majik Forest route around Bellville. This was a very special run with my bitch, Raven just us girls and nature - my happy place. This route covers the Tygerberg Nature Reserve, the Durbanville Winelands and the Majik Forest - perfect training grounds for the upcoming Knysna half marathon. We covered 13km and it was a perfect Sunday runday.

Susie, my Belgian bitch was such a pleasure to be around. She got along with our older Schipperke bitch. They were a good pair of yard watchdogs. The Schipperke was the Warner while for men who wanted to enter the yard uninvited found out soon Susie was the defender of the yard. From the moment I first met her she climbed right into my lap. Perfect bitch and companion for my grandson and other children.
