Dang it the more time passes the more I’m actually getting excited… Like I’m kinda getting why they wanted to go with live action and I think.. It might actually work? Like I still hate the Llama and Sheep designs and the plot kinda looks “Jumanji” like, but… I actually really liked the Bee design and if the other mobs were less “realistic” like that I wouldn’t hate it nearly as much, and the background environments are actually really nice to look at. But when they said they chose live action so that it would stand out as it’s own thing I think they may have made the right decision..

This clip alone is better than the whole trailer ngl. I think the bad CGI mobs and Jack Black as Steve (as well as Jason Momoa’s ridiculous character and outfit) just really hurt people’s first impressions. Im still unsure if this will be good or not, I’ll just have to see for myself in the movie theater

Everytime it cuts to Jack, it’s just Jack Black in a Blue shirt. Didnt loose weight, didnt shave, and inst the Right Skin tone. This is a rare moment when they whitewashed Steve who doesnt Even have a Race but is clearly darker than Jack Black

Tbh this is probably better than the entire movie (never been a big horror fan but this is hilarious), and tbh I kinda wish the whole movie was a comedy just to be different from other typical horror book to film adaptations
