Self Sealing Threaded Fitting Video Guide - Soft Material
Why would you fit it to the bottom hose where the temp has been reduced by the radiator? And it looks like flat washers/seals against a curved fitting? Then again, 306 subscribers and a 9 year old video. How the hell this video ended up in my feed is beyond me!
I love your idea that is pretty nice setup. Please provide me how can I get it I really appreciate it
So with the fan, is it a universal push/pull fan or just a pull fan? I've got a 16" push/pull and I was told all I'd need to do is switch the wiring around to use is as a pull fan, so the red is ground and black is positive.. Or would I need to turn the blade over as well do you think
well explained
My kit came with 4 SPRINGS. Where do I put the Springs ?
Did you figure out what the springs are for? Have same kit 🤔
@@HQTrackdays yes. Cable ties, springs, then all other parts installed
You are an angel. Thank you!
Very long winded!
how you do it if radiator is already on car
remove the radiator
Can you access both sides of the radiator, if so you're all set.
It looks like a cumbersome overly complicated bodge in order to fit a thermistor to control a fan.
My kit has four small springs. Where should they go or are they not necessary?
Confused on that too
DO NOT forget to install the springs
@@CodeE-ny3km Where ?
@@pablogaviria9265 I was being sarcastic lol sorry
@@pablogaviria9265 Пружины устанавливаются после этого 3:33 этапа.
am interested in this product but i don't see a link to where it can be purchased could some please post the link.
Large radiator with extra small fan. LOL
I have an 84 gmc,c1500 half ton truck what size fan do I need.
So how do you remove them, cut them?
I’m searching for that answer as well lol
@@carlosherrera8541y’all figure it out? 😂
@@splash5235no I’m waiting on my switchblade knife to come in from eBay 😂
The cuestión is , If removed is necessary.
Did not explain how to fit to a radiator
Just like another person commented below, these things will cause radiator leaks! Stay away!
A bit "Cheeky" for these days. Do not tamprt with a standard auto relay voiding warranty. Better have a life time one.
What is the minimum internal diameter of the fitting for a 19 or 20mm hose tail unit?
Super, ça marche très bien !
Great video: Thanks!
Hi can you please provide links where I can purchase the material to make this build.thank you.
xks.com has them.
Hi can you please provide links where I can purchase the material to make this build.thank you.
Where can I buy?
Where can i buy this?
which is better? push or pull configuration?
Gilbert Alexander Tan depends on your application, I use a pusher fan on my swapped e30.
Should be puller always. As your driving, wind is blowing thru your bumper and grill. If you have it set as pusher your fighting against the wind. Also pulling vs pushing helps to evacuate hot engine bay heat thru underneath your car.
@@HaileyLove42 If you have it set as a pusher then you would put it in front of the radiator.
@@juanm2188 most cars that have ac don't have room to put a fan between radiator and condenser. From engine bay my honda prelude goes twin 12" mishimoto radiators a full size radiator( I had my turbo manifold built so I could keep power steering ac and full radiator), then ac condenser then intercooler than power steering cooler.
Thank you for this video. I'm installing my fan today 👍
Thank you for this video :)
Isn't the fan suppose to sit flat on radiator to pull maximum amount of air? I noticed you put those grommets between fan and radiator
venomwagon to avoid the fins vibrating against the fan and potential shave/ break it
@@chrisasaurus Needs to sit flat or air, looking for the easiest route, will escape. 101
I bought one but mine does the opposite it turns on when is cols and turns off when is hot? Can someone help me please
Flip the wiring connections around. Sounds like neg is on the pos & vice versa. Email the company.
have you thought about a nyloc but to ensure the fitting could never come undone and end up in the engine
What a fantastic idea! you should post where people can buy your products, but it looks like theyre only available in the UK. I hope your doing well with your products, you are very intelligent.
A kit like this could work with a water methanol injection kit as well, we struggle to find a place to mount our injection nozzle. you should create a boot kit of silicone to mount out water nozzle into. For diesel or gasoline.
what a cool idea, i would have loved this with all the old cars i use to build.
