Так а смысл коробки передач если у тебя электрический мотор?
коробка передач в таком случае нужна только для пониженной передачи или если хочешь разогнать на мах а мотор ограничен колличеством оборотов, так с помощью передаточного числа можно не нагружать мотор+ в паре с частотником идельный движек, только кпд уменьшиться за счет коробки, но оно не везде учитывается!

The trouble is that manufacturers have put a band in their transmissions called the Constant Velocity Transmission and when it breaks, it really breaks. My grandson has one of them Prius Toyota and it needs a trans replacement to the tune of $4,000.00 he says. We loaned him $4,000.00 for him to pay back taxes last year, won’t do it again. He hasn’t mentioned it again, offered to pay any back, all this before his car problems. Methodist preacher he is.
We can only build the 5 speed but if you 3d printed those could you sell them? I would totally buy them

O.k...alles gut und schön...aber die Spielerei mit dem Handbetrieb zur unterschiedlichen Geschwindigkeit lässt sich wunderbar mit einem Zusatzmotor in Verbindung mit einer Zahnstange kombinieren. Lieben Gruss an die Community😊😊

Fair point, I drove a 5-speed manual Santa Fe myself 😁 The 9 speeds were added just to bring more smoothness to this setup

Could it function like a cvt?
🤔 It might look like a CVT because of the small step between gears, but each gear in this mechanism is fixed and increases by 3 mm in size. Unlike a true CVT, which provides a seamless range of gear ratios without fixed steps, this gearbox operates with distinct gear ratios, so it doesn’t function like a real CVT
@TechBuildLab it could function like a very smooth automatic i guess if you used a long worm beside the selector to make it change between gears

No, a CVT literally stands for continuously variable transmission. This one is definitely not continuously variable, it's just a normal transmission. Still very cool to see it in lego.

I actually 3D-printed these gears. Their sizes range from 13.5mm to 37.5mm, increasing in 3mm steps, so I cheated a bit there. 😊 All the other parts are genuine LEGO pieces, which I bought individually rather than from a predefined LEGO set. Glad you enjoyed it!

but can you money shift?
Yes, but LEGO wheels don't have enough inertia to damage the motor, even with a "money shift". Testing this would require adding extra weight to the wheels - such as using metal ones

I like second configuration for it’s comparative highest reliability, but first and third configurations seem to have better flexibility in torque transmitting ratio.
It would be amazing to see the practical differences between the configurations. Looking forward to part 2 with real-world testing!
What is that battery ???
It's the Mould King M0019 6.0 module kit. It comes with a remote control. Both the module and controller have lithium batteries and micro-USB ports for charging.
