Precast Aircrete/Foam Concrete Panels - How To Mix and Pour
A short instructional video showing how I have learned to mix and pour aircrete. I wanted to show a more detailed step by step guide with live mixing to really highlight some of the things I have learned with my online research.

A short time lapse of the 3 day process to erect my homemade aircrete panel building here in The Philippines. These panels were self manufactured on site with a 600kg per m3 foam concrete mix known as Aircrete. I want to give a hat tip to Honey Do Carpenter on RUclips for his videos, they inspired me to give this project a go and I recommend taking a look at his Channel. ruclips.net/channel/UCA...

I've seen people making foam blocks with 37.5 kg gypsum 2 kg cement mixed in 50 litres of water and foam. They set hard enough to be unmoulded in 15 minutes. They are then stacked for curing

Why did you not make them like lego blocks so they will lock together or how do you connect them once they are done?

You make it sound like you are using only 19 litres of foam mix per bag of portland but Domegaia calls for 113 liters per bag of portand. Which is correct?

The chemical that produces foam for cleaning purposes is also a chemical solvent. Apart from plastic-based and polyurethane foams, concrete produced with chemical solvent foam such as soap causes it to become brittle, crack and collapse over the years. I'm sorry, if it is produced with foam obtained from soap just to make it lighter or to reduce the cost of concrete, it will start to melt after a short time, just like soap.

All well and good , but the mix that you have poured into the forms , IT'S NOT THE SAME , as the one that you've mixed in the bucket , you can easily see that the mix in the barrel, it's 5 times darker , that the one that was poured into the panel forms .....!!!

Let's face it: apart from being "new and interesting approach" (and yes, lighter than traditional concrete!), this is nothing else but a piece of complicated to make and weak shit! Stick to ol', good concrete!

Great no-nonsense video!! I suspect that _not_ any soap will do, many have lotions & nonsense in them, which make them fundamentally bad at being soap. Does the water HAVE to be clean? I'd kinda like to see this made with a whey-protien based 'graphene' suspension instead of tap water. Fine styrene pellets can work well too (in lieu of suds), if you have enough access to waste styrofoam, and a good way to grind it. Seems a bit more stable.
