This video takes a closer look at the advantages and di...
How to Select a Heat Sink
Просмотров 39 тыс.2 года назад
Heat sinks play an important role in circuit design, providing an efficient path for heat to be transferred into the ambient air and away from electronic devices. Without them, many electronics such as BJTs, MOSFETs, linear regulators, BGA packages, and so on are more likely to overheat, causing damage or complete component failure. To further understand a heat sink’s importance, this video wal...

The Peltier is maxed out on a 6 pack cooler so best suited to small applications like teloscopes, must cheaper than liquid cooled. Do some research
What about dual ball bearins?
After looking at this video, I believe that I can find a way for two batteries to be in series through the jack to provide power to a 2s load, while being able to be put into parallel by inserting the plug and being charged through the plug. I was not previously aware that there are 4 variants for jacks that are used for circuits that interrupt a signal to replace the load. In my case the batteries are the load and the plug holds the source. This is a very helpful video for my purpose.
I have a question, After looking around online, I don't any Peltier modules larger then a foot in size, why is this?
great …clear description & explanations....
RX 570 by Sapphire had ball bearing fans. Amazing!
What a great explanation of the maths !
Lovely video - one technical thing - electrically, USB-C plugs are not symmetric, as can be seen in the tables of pin layouts. Also the two ends of the USB-C are electrically different, as can be seen in the table of cable wiring. The illusion of symmetry results from how devices respond to the cable. Software makes the plugs and cables behave as though they are symmetric.
Thank you! Great info and explaining. YOutube should give a prize to anyone who saves us time, rather thenn losing. Thiz would be a very prized video!
This video is underrated, great info, delivered in a well organized fashion
Ultrasonic Transducers ruclips.net/video/mr4R4_vyvFs/видео.html
Great and simple explanation
Inotice there are holes on the top of each terminal. If the pins from another terminal is placed in the hole such that the one terminal is stacked on the other, is that a complete circuit? Or are they insulated from each other
Are you referring to the screw holes on the top of the connector? If so, no, those holes have a screw head, which is used to tighten and secure the wire once inserted into the terminal.
A lot of videos on digital electronics using breadboards would benefit *greatly* from replacing jumper wire with DIP switches.
Well explained.
I believe the electret diagram at 2:09 should have a hole in the aluminum housing under the dust cover to let the sound in. Their blog has a similar diagram but with a hole.
Good catch. Our blog version is correct, which shows the proper hole for a top sound port: www.cuidevices.com/blog/comparing-mems-and-electret-condenser-microphones#electret-condenser-microphone-basics
Hi can someone help me find one of these AMT-OTZ-1 One Touch Zero modules for purchase? Thanks
Hi David, we would recommend submitting a ticket with our Ask an Engineer chat and we can help you out from there: www.cuidevices.com/contact
great video
Exactly what I needed, thanks!
Useful video, thanks.
Would it be able to detect the resonant frequency of the object it hits?
How we select the model to function as an electric generator ? If I apply the 30 dT across the same module , provide 150 watt heat on the hot side and dissipate 110 watts on the cold side, will i get 10 amps and 40 watts of useful electricity ? At what voltage ? 4 volts? How can we calculate that?
Hello sir, yes we could generate dc output, but remember the efficiency isnt always 100%. I mean you can generate power but it gives a weaker output than you expected. Not efficient in total to generate
Amazing digital presentation!
This is how I used to make instrumental versions of music tapes
Thank you for this I’m like 10 seconds in and ready for a refresh!
Ty for the detailed explanation :)

Thanks
I still don't quite get it ... can I use a mono cable on a stereo connector?
lol 1:02 - quite erotic for musicians.
Sorry, but i need something more basic. Just received a refurbished PC desktop from Amazon, and there is a USB adapter in box. What is it for?
Bro - start with the symbolic equation next time please. Its hard to adapt your example without it.
Another nitpick, sorry. To help people design - go through the process of picking the heatsink...look at a table and say "we need at least 26 deg/Watt with this surface area and this height limitation, so these will work". The arbitrary HS choice was confusing, especially when the point of the video is the clarify HS choice
for me the ball bearing fan failed after roughlt two years of using in pc
Great explanation with awesome presentation. Thanks a lot for this video..
At the moment I can only say feeling interested in the subject. Thanks for the information so far.
thanks budd 🙂
👍
useful, thanks
Thank you 😊
Subscribe??? - FUCK NO!!!!
very informative, thanks very much!
Before USB-C, mini-USB proved to be sturdier and more reliable than micro-USB.
Thanks, I came from trying to enable Free Play on a Metal Slug arcade board to this video.
EXCELLENT presentation
Very helpful. Thanks so much
Concise and Clear.

what type of connectors exist to connect PCB togethers? I am talking about connecting signal or wire power via wires.
Without knowing the specifics of your application, you are probably after what is generally called a "board-to-board connector." However, these come in many different form factors and types depending on your specific design needs. Hope this helps!
@@SameSkyDevices the shear number and type of connectors is one reason for the confusion
@@優さん-n7m as we don't currently offer board-to-board connectors, we are not an expert in that field. We would recommend reaching out to a manufacturer that offers those connector types. They would be better equipped to make a recommendation based on your application requirements.
N curve frequency it is so powerful, beautify sound ,based on curve N on bass or mid it is ok for longer time ,they say may different than avarage.
Thank you!
