Someone had informed me that if appointment to collect/install the vep tag is on a date later than 01October 2024, just produce the appointment and payment slips when stopped checked. Is this info reliable?

Got my vep tag application approved. Appointment with TCSens-Danga Bay made together with payment. But appt date for collection̈ of vep tag is on 11 Ovtober 2024, this is way after the 01 October 2024 VEP Implementation date. How do I enter JB without the vep tag? Anyone can help with advice? Thks.

Apply bank loan,apply credit card even more easy than this bullsht. Ask for sensitive information such as coe price, engine number, chassis number even insurance details ( maybe Malaysia vehicles no insurance also can get in without being asked) The steps and the way they say after you apply page by page is never an indicator that the application is complete.merry go round 30 times with logging in to check, trying to clarify with email and phone calls is very distressing. Zero planning and half past 6 execution.total disgrace!

Yes. The problem is not new. I registered for VEP foe my car in 2000. I missed the email, whuch contain a link to make appointment to install the RFID Tag. This link is valid for 4 days only. I was late for 3 days and the link was not usable. I emailed them for a new link, but noo reply until I gave up. Like you, I just entered Malaysia using the T&G and all was fine and Malaysia government drop the bomb to make it mandatory from Oct 1st. Now I managed to login the the appointment website. I saw my vehicle info and application there. There was a button labelled RFID application. I clicked it. It led me to a page to confirm all the needed information. Finally, I clicked Submit. I got an error message that my T&G account was not active How can this be? I have an active T&G account that has my required Sgp mobile phone number and my SGP NRIC number and they are the same as in my VEP application. Now I am stuck with it? Should I go to the VEP office in JB to get it done? I heard that there is a service fee of RM40 to do it and it us on top of the RM10 for the RFID Tag.

I already install Tag also wait more than 1 month not yet activated. Still waiting when typing this message

Please change your style of narrating. You sound like a broken record repeating thing spoken previously and you’re only complaining things about how bad the system is. But here are also Singaporeans who managed to apply successfully and get VEP mailed to them.

TCSENS is the worst company I have encountered. I wonder which minister own or has relative that own this company.

I submitted my application on 1 June and received the confirmation letter on 16 June. There is no more communication after this. I have written to enquire but received no reply.

The problem is website was not designed to handle heavy use, did not think through all the possible issues that users may encounter. Once they fixed their website and make it user friendly, more than half of the emails will be gone, win-win for both parties, not unless they deliberately create the problems to delay or even abort the vep after collecting all the money, not impossible

i applied for the VEP in April 24 and it was quite straightforward. It was also linked to E-wallet efficiently. Dont wait till the last minute to apply.

Bro i understand your frustration. i dont think they want to implement this to make money. They implement this is dont want to lose money and lose face. because they have invested so much money in the system and have been delayed for so long. If you dont have the tag why you go in with your car to let them fine you. If you do that you can only blame yourself for been stupid. Can i ask you have you do anything beside call and email them. I went down 3 times.onky the last time they cancel the previous owner of the car for me and i reapply again. You have to do something besides waiting for email for call and after 1 oct drive in to get fine and blame them. Do something.

To exowner beware, not sure anyone have the same issue with mine. Try to deactivate the RFID from JPJ website and deactivate TNG before I sold my car in Apr24. Sure what to xpected - not successful. Tag remove before handover the car and seeing the expiry fall on Jun24 so keep finger cross. And what surprise me is that the new owner went JB at least 4times and the tolls were deducted from my eWallet. WHAT A GREAT JOB JPJ and TnG done.

We can understand the frustration of our drivers and vehicle owners in regards to this issue. Firstly, accept my apology if I have to be a bit blunt here. It's ok to criticize the inefficiency of their registration system right now. So, just focus on that. Collate all the difficulties and issues faced at our end, that's it, hoping their Transport Ministry will pick up this broadcast. However, to go on personal attack, I think that is uncalled for. To say the person in-charge is "sleeping / tidur, selfish, don't want to do their job as long get paid monthly, buat bodoh, don't care, don't want to employ their IT graduates" , all these are necessary remarks and baseless accusations , which can cause tension. Secondly, we don't teach them what to do, as if we are more expert than them. Let them decide. Afterall, it's their project. Worst case scenario, if this cannot be resolved by 1st Oct, Spore vehicles will not be entering Msia and indirectly, it will have an impact on their economy and tourism. Just my thought.
