    Had no problem doing my first upload of just under 1k. Went to a different ads account in a different country and Amazon Ads wouldn't let me add more products to it. Is the 1k ASINs limit per day to your entire ads account and not just 1 country or campaign? TIA!

    Couldn't agree more with the Broad Match comment. Exact Matches were eating up my budget, but I have a lot of sales with Broad Match and low 20 cent bids. My ACOS is very good as well.

    A lot of nuggets of great information in this video. However, I have a question: Steven talks about running an expanded product targeting campaign. If we harvest product targets from an Auto ad using Merch Jar and put them into a product ad, do they go to an exact match or an expanded match? There's no box to select this in the Smart Campaign section of MJ.

      Currently, Smart Campaigns can create exact-match product targets. A future update to Smart Campaigns will include expanded ASINs.

    Thanks for the vid. I'm beginner on that and what i wanna understand is that, when you segment your compaings to 'close', 'loose'', etc, isn't it that for e.g you should have higher bid for close match in a close compaign and lower for the other matches. Because i've seen that you have the same bid for all of them (0.05), which wouldn't discriminate really if the sale came from 'close match' or another match. I may be mistaken,can u correct me. thanks

    Whats good bidding strtetegy like dynamic up down , down or fix bids when we are using the placements secondly best strategy when we have some campaigns which are running from some time & We understand fix bids are good for new campaigns but should we need to move to other strategy after some data, orders or some time.     Thanks for the info. I'm pretty new to the advertising thing, but I launched an auto campaign yesterday which went live last night. Bid of .70 cents with down only dynamic (slightly higher than the recommended .66 cents). 21 impressions as of the following morning - no data yet (prob too early). Trying to push traffic and ratings to my paperback book (112 page full color guide in the cooking related category). Five day campaign at $5 per day. Looking forward to seeing what happens and gaining a better understanding of how to analyze the info. Thanks again for the info.

    What's your strategy to come up with new designs so much? How do you go about researching and choosing subniches that aren't oversaturated? Also, about how long would you say you spend working on merch on demand throughout the week? Love the content!

      Search term reports are a great place to start with research. I've also used Helium10's cerebro tool and just good old fashioned amazon search. I don't really only target niches that aren't saturated, I use ads a way to outcompete the existing products. Saturated typically means high potential traffic and high potential sales. I don't spend much time on merch on demand as I haven't been creating new products, only on the ads for my existing listings. Maybe 20 minutes a week on average, but much more during peak sales periods.

Here are my questions: 1.1 Is it worth it to expand MBA assets (designs & listings) to all the POD marketplaces even the smaller ones? 1.2 What are your top earning POD marketplaces besides MBA? 1.3 Do you recommend building a store? if yes a general POD shopify store or niche branded one? 1.4 Is it early to outsource with 1K/month profit? 1.5 Is there a part of the POD business that you don't recommend to outsource? 1.6 Do you work as a business in MBA? if yes is the transition from working as an individual to business worth it? 1.7 Do you recommend having a backup MBA account for safety reason?

    Congrats Cameron! Would you recommend running ads to new listings in competative niches to try and break onto page 1? Or would it be better to run ads on less competative niches? Also, would you recommend running ads to brand new listing or only to listing that are already selling? Thanks in advance, Adam.

      You can run ads to new listings, I'd start these with a lottery campaign if you have lots of products: ruclips.net/video/0PtmD2TEEz0/видео.htmlsi=ps-Do2c7E1HGkUhI These are low risk and low cost, and great for getting new listings exposure, regardless of whether it's a competitive niche or not. For Merch on Demand products this is where I'd start Otherwise for other products, I'd run single asin campaigns to new listings as a product launch.

    How long did it take to see your sales equalize after starting ads vs. all organic? I've tried ads off and on since they were first introduced and have never been able to find the right formula to achieve consistent sales success above what I already had (tier 100k, on since '17, just under 84k total sales/$340,000 royalties all time), and ultimately what i end up seeing is that my ad spend generates sales but organic sales come crashing down, to where I'm selling the same amount with ads as without, but with a big $ ad bill killing my bottom line. Maybe I haven't let them run long enough but after a few weeks of same overall sales but with all that spend I turn them off (and then try again a few months later after watching one of your vids or just feeling inspired to try again but still having the same thing happen...)

    Congratulations Cameron. Do you think some of your success is due to treating Amazon Merch like a business? Especially when it come to ads? High ad spend may seem like a loss to some sellers, but oiling the algorithm is simply investing into your e-commerce business now, so you can reap the rewards further down the line.

      My success can absolutely be attributed to treating it like a business. Focus on what you can control, leverage your skill sets and outsource what you're not good at or don't want to do. For me it was leveraging ads and the data, which I enjoy, and outsourcing the design and other work which I didn't, or am not skilled at. My first couple years, I reinvested all the profits back into the business to grow it, and now I have a business that will continue (hopefully) to pay dividends for years. And you are spot on with the ad spend - it's an investment. You're investing in your products and ranking them in order to reach their maximum potential. If you have great products, you should be thrilled to spend on ads in order to maximize their reach, there shouldn't be any pride in selling your products strictly organically, which is a common mindset I set. You're simply limiting their potential. Whoever spends the most on advertising, wins.

    Hey Cameron, great video. Recently came across you via your interview on the Detour Shirts channel and I appreciate the insight you shared there and here. Regarding a Lottery campaign: when I drop my CSV of ASINs into the Products area when setting up a new Amazon Ads campaign, it gives an error "List cannot exceed 1,000 ASINs". Is there a better way to set up a lottery campaign, or is there a way to get around this? Appreciate the content!
