I'm on the fence. If I do that and upgrade my mag catch then I wouldn't be able to use the glock mags anymore without risking abnormal wear. I have been eyeballing the PSA micro dagger 15 rounders as a compromise.

Yes both came with the pressure switches and mounting for the switches.

@@randylahey3432 there is no rail key. This model is made directly for the 43X. You can also get a version that fits the SIG directly.

@@randylahey3432 ok. Not sure what your point was here. This version of the TLR-7 sub is for the Glock 43x. There wasn’t extra keys nor did I have to install one. It’s a direct fit to the 43X only.

@@ARraven15 most streamlights come with a few different rail keys, I've been doing my research before buying a 7 sub, I have found out that between the 7 sub and 43x it needs to have gl marked rail clamps and a #1 marked rail key. From what your telling me I'm guessing yours came with that setup without any extra keys. 7 subs are kind of confusing and I'm researching to have the right setup before buying.

@@randylahey3432 correct. Which is why in the video when I pulled the box into frame it clearly states “fits Glock 43x MOS”. They also have one that fits the SIG specifically. Otherwise yes, Streamlights come with keys to adapt them to certain manufacturers.

@@ericg649 Thanks for the input! If you like the idea of the full size grip with the 19 slide you definitely won’t regret moving to the G45.

Never said this is the best stuff out there. It's an HDR. Meant to supply very basic nutritional needs to people in need of it. Also no meat to better cover all groups of people. For the price point to have shelf stable emergency food its hard to beat $31 for a case of 10 daily rations. When people are on a budget and want to be able to store away ready to eat food this is a good option. If you don't like them, then don't buy them. The choice is yours.

@@LL-be3rh Actually...no. It happened the one time. I completely disassembled the light and cleaned all contact surfaces. Second time out everything functioned properly with no issues. Can't explain it. Fluke maybe.

If you are talking about the Radian Ramjet, unfortunately with living in the state of Illinois I can not purchase that here or have it on my pistol. Due to Prickster's AWB law there's a lot we can't do anymore.

The light only comes with pic rail mounts. I’m pretty sure out there somewhere you can find a MLOK accessory that will allow you to mount the switch on the MLOK sections. Magpul makes one.

I run a T Rex Arms sidecar holster made for the G45 with the TLR1 HL attached. I actually show the setup in my newest video introducing my summer carry sidearm.

The tail cap from the Protac 2.0 is not compatible for the HLX. But they make the HLX Pro now that has the same style cap as the Protac 2.0.

I've since tried them all. I liked them. Certainly not upset about having these in my storage.

I keep them put up for emergencies you can get them cheap

Yes they did. On January 10th 2023 J.B. Pritzker's "Protect Illinois Communities Act" went into effect. It's basically Illinois' version of an assault weapons ban. There's a laundry list of firearms that are banned along with the list of things that qualify a firearm to be considered an assault weapon. Here's the list if you are interested - www.ispfsb.com/public/downloadableresource.ashx?id=401. As of the date those items can no longer be sold, bought, or transferred. Those who own them had until January 1st 2024 to register them with the state or face a class 2 felony. It only had a little over 1% compliance. Magazines are limited to 10 rounds for a rifle and 15 rounds for a pistol but you can still keep the "high cap" mags that you already own. This is the basic info. I believe they have a ban on .50 BMG as well.

When I bought the G45 last year that you see in the video I had a choice to make. They came from factory with the standard 17 round Glock magazine. First choice was to have to pay extra to have the shop permanently modify the mags to only accept 15 rounds OR I could let them keep them and take a discount on the pistol. Since I already had several 17 round Glock mags I opted for the discount. However I did purchase a couple Glock made 15 rounders so I could carry.

Well on paper even the HLX Pro still only has half of the lumen output than the Protac 2.0 (1000 compared to 2000). Now personally at these levels of brightness you are still going roast someone's retinas with either option. I didn't really get into the brightness or the throw of the beam because there are a lot of videos doing these types of comparisons. I more or less did the video to show battery and size differences. But I will put that on the back burner.

I thought Alabama was a constitutional carry state too. My sister in law and her husband live there but they have permits to carry. We live in Ohio and Ohio is a constitutional carry state.

@@andrewbrumagen3479 Alabama is a CC state but a lot of us like to support our local sheriff’s and that is a way for us to do that. Also I travel into Georgia and Florida a lot and you need a permit for that.

The Wornick Company that makes these is one of the ones that also makes the military MRE. The shelf life they say is 5 years.

I wasn't doing a review. I was simply showing a decent deal that would add food to your stores. But, you are welcome none the less.

I did eat the one I had opened on camera. They remind of a standard MRE minus the meat. The Lentil stew wasn't bad. Having it warmed up might make it more appetizing. The pasta with tomato sauce actually was a little miss leading. It had lentils mixed in with it. Still tasted fine and made it more filling. Crackers are like standard MRE crackers(unsalted). The peanut butter and the jam complimented those. The pastry is literally an unfrosted pop tart(was in a Pop Tart brand wrapper inside the vacuum package). The fig bar tastes just like a fig newton. I don't mind beans so this ration I won't have a problem eating again. - I bought these with the intent to having something for emergency backup. It's not meant to be anything other than something to keep me alive. I didn't expect gourmet food or a great selection.

They do use these for foreign aid. But you can also purchase them as well. Like the MRE is made mainly for the military, you can still buy them from the manufacturing company.

It’s obvious that the US MRE is a superior product. I certainly wasn’t suggesting these were better by any means. However if you a choice between having these or nothing at all…these are far from junk.

I have an overwatch tac in mine. Short reset and keeps about a 4.5 lb. wall and NP3 robar coating.

I’ve always thought the 45/19x is the worst idea for a Glock ever. All the downsides of a large frame but also all the downsides of a shorter barrel/slide. Small frame and large barrel/slide makes sense for a lot of reasons but not the other way around. What about this setup do you like???

@@usernamesrlamo I actually pocket carry it, so the shorter barrel keeps it lower for me. I also have a Glock 17, but to be honest, I am not sure that it has ever been fired. Currently I carry a Sig P365 X Macro Comp, but am sure I will go back to the G45 at some point.
