One old video, updated, reduced songs from each year from 10 to 5, and yet as a German I am suprised that most the new additions in 2010-2015 that I heard a lot many years ago turn out to be German. Unbelivable. Still mad about the german rap that started appearing in 2017 but seeing a few songs not only being german rap but also me decently liking them does put a small smile on my face.

Imo he's saying the semantics involved in the language cause confusion. The confusion leads to approximations. Yes approximation works but if we truly want to be interstellar we cant use our current language. At least thats my take on it.

The 80s are my most favorite ones. So much variety, it never becomes boring (just like the 90s). It's also an era that I don't remember a lot of songs from but due to those reactions they somehow ended up being stuck in my head. They really hit my interests. Half a year ago I started usually listening to the radio (actually it's just WDR 2 but I like their combo of playing different type of songs and having conversations about specific present or old topics) and I heard a lot of great songs there. When I started looking at the reactions, I recognized a lot of songs I heard from the radio and seeing most of them with title and music video made me remember that I actually heard those songs way in the past, I just forgot about them existing for a long time. I get very happy when I hear one of those on the radio again. I hope the 2020s era brings variety to the charts again. No more of that German rap.

The 90s were the most nostalgic times for me in terms of music (even tho I didn't exist during that era). I know a lot of the songs here from my childhood and I never get bored when I hear them over and over again. It's funny how I never heard "Mambo Nr. 5" ever before and when I first heard it in one of the reactions I was like "This has to be a REALLY popular song." I ended up being right. Wish I heard it a long time before.

Almost all of the songs here I have never heard of, some like "Summer Vine" I just heard recently on the radio. "Haus am See" is the one I remember the most, mostly because in one of our German lessons we had to try and sing the entire song by head. It wasn't that bad tho because the song was short and simple, making it easy to remember. One of my favorite songs.

I didn't really care about any German song I heard until I watched like 50 different reactions of the 1980-2019 videos and now I absolutely hate almost everything after 2015. I ended up getting closer to the songs from the 80s and 90s, they're just way more interesting for me. Still hoping for German rap to vanish here.

It's only a thumbnail. As a person who lacks style myself, taking colors and font ideas from pros is not that big of a deal. In the past it was tought to EVERYONE even by the pros to do that. It's only been in this younger generation it's a big no-no. The sentiment in the past was learn from the pros. Now it's the exact opposite. Of course you wouldn't do that with story-so much... Instead of lying about it maybe be honest, I don't know. I like it when people have 100% their own style, but I don't demand it. If the work in the video is its own. Who doesn't hunt for an idea?
