Ughh it hurts to even leave a comment on this manga as its so tragic but Major spoilers Yuko kurose was a product of her environment Mother and grandmother both taught yuko, in order to be close to someone, u gotta give them your pain and suffering...in a literal sense so they "truly share pain with you" amd connect. Both his mother and grandma were abused in all ways. And so , Yukos mother got her own daughter to be prostituted , father abused her and grandmother brainwashed her to not leave town and make family in the town only. Then Yuko did the same thing with her own son , except by isolating him from friends and guilt tripping him, so he only has his mother Yuko to depend upon but ....at the very end when she yells at him getting him to leave this town. You can see her wiping tears away. Its clear she did this on purpose to break that cycle. All of this due to neglect in mental support and communication and a town where dysfunctional adults are common.
